Is Protein Powder necessary for a body like David Beckham's?!

Question: I'm 17 years old, 6'0 and 160 lbs. I've been working out for 3 months now without the use of protein powder and am happy with my results thus far.

My body type is almost exactly like Beckham's, and I really want to have a body like that some time

My question is should I go out and get protein powder as a protein supplement? I only get about 50-60 grams of protein a day.

I worked at a Fitness Center for years and there are a lot of really muscular guys that were members. They would buy protein powder, shakes, drinks, bars, etc daily in order to bulid up their muscle mass. David Beckham had a really nice body but it is super toned not super muscular. I would recommend you take some additional form of protein daily. A shake for breakfast and dinner would be good 5 times a week. If you take too much protein you could get too bulky, so don't over do it. Make sure your working out 4-5 times a week and concentrating on certain areas of your body each day. Also, make sure you include ab exercises in Every workout! In no time you'll be Beckham Jr. Keep up the hard work, you'll be sexxxy in no time!

most all of the people i know who work out seriously and want to see serious results, use protein powder. keep at it. it will happen.

You should try to opt for about 1gram of protein per pound of body weight. This is the healthy norm for getting cut or building muscle.

Also, do interval training and plenty of high intensity cardio.
David Beckham's body is very low fat and lean muscle although his muscles are not overworked.

The workout he gets from soccer is what keeps him "cut". I know he also combines a complete body weight training program 3 times a week since he said so in various interviews.

You can also eat lean meats such as chicken and meat(with very little to no fat on it) to increase your protein

So up the lean protein and do interval cardio training and your well on your way to looking like David!
