[Dr.'s-needhelp]Wearing shorts, no brief = painful... why?!

Question: Ok, all my life I've been wearing briefs, then shorts over it. But, when I tried wearing shorts only, it's painful for my "thing" (because the short and my thing does friction when I move). Is that normal -- that my thing is so sensitive? Or, my thing is used to being compressed by the brief? (note: I'm circumcised)

(Therefore, I can never live without briefs. What a terrible result. I'll never take briefs for granted again.)

briefs and shorts are typically not made fo a similar material; the short fabrics tend to be rougher. thus until the head of th epenis gets accustomed to the rougher material it will be uncomfortable to go commando. So if you can tough it out you will achieve the freedom you seek. Alternatively buy only shorts of a softer fabric.

That is the cost of altering nature.

Although I wear both, I find boxer shorts more comfortable. When your "thing" (I prefer the term "dick") rubs against the fabric of your trouser it's not uncommon to feel uncomfortable on the one hand, or get an erection ("raging hard-on") on the other.

That was the whole idea of making underwear so the friction between your penis and the material can rub against each other without feeling any pain or causing any problems.

Hope this helped!!!
