Abnormal body shape (male)?!


Question: I am 24, male, 6'2" and about 9 and a half stone. I look incredibly skinny. My legs are very long in proportion to my body. My upper body is tiny - including my head. In pictures with my friends I look like a freak. My shoulders are about as broad as my female friends'. In fact, my upper body shape is quite feminine except that I don't have breasts. My GP referred me to an endocrinologist who said my hormone level check came back normal and he didn't think complicated genetic testing was justifiable (although he didn't look at my naked body). My arms and legs are also extremely skinny (skinnier than most girls I know).

Does anyone have any idea what might have caused this? Also, is there any chance my upper body will develop any further at this stage?

HI first of all stop worrying ,I know, easy for me to say, but believe it or not one of the main reasons for not being able to gain weight is just that, Worry , ask your doc for a thyroid test, it just might be genetic, bet you are a very nice guy inside, its whats inside that is the most important, so never lose that, eat a well balanced diet and go swimming that will give you a good stand for your body to adapt to any weight you do gain to go on to the right places, most of all, don't set out to make this a life long rope around your neck, enjoy the nice guys and things around you and think a little less on you outer body, if you ever need to talk then mail me, good luck

You could do some weight-lifting to add muscle mass.
