They are not harmful. All that soapy stuff is formulated the same way and for the same purpose to clean various parts of your body. It's just packaged differently, a marketing ploy to get more money. Wash your self with the shampoo and just go out and buy a bar of body soap. Don't you shower daily?
You don't have regular hand soap? That is what you should use. Go out and buy something.

go to the store and get some like soap
Get some gentle soap. Dove is a good one. Stay away from Lever 2000!
Body wash is no different than other soap products. Just rinse it off well.
Dude use the body wash on your unit it may even be antibactural and have a mosturizer in it you should be fine
