How do i improve my body shape?!


Question: hey, i'm 15, male, and i may as well be a twig. i'm really unhappy with my body, from my stomach downwards, i think i'm ok. its just my shoulders and arms. i really want to just build myself up a bit, you know? i get picked on for it at school alot and on a few occasions its pushed me over the edge. i can't cope with it, any advice?

i have two dumbells which i use at about 8kgs each by the way, i'm using them but still, help? :(

i predict when your growing up more, maybe when you get to about 16/17, youl have a bigger frame around the arms and shoulders, but still, nothings stopping you from working out now, which is good, carry on working out the arms and shoulders, go to the gym if you have to, you can at your age, or go to the doctors and ask for a exercise plan. good luck

join weight class. Don't worry, you'll marry someone and be more successful then those jocks.

you should work out a bit. Don't over do it though. You should take gradual steps in becoming more the way you want to be. Besides, you should be happy the way you are :)

If your a twig then you need to get some more weigh. That is what protein shakes are for. You gain muscle and not fat by eating or drinking protein and working out enough to sculpt you muscles yet not burn away all the fate you intake....

if your school has a workout program like a weight lifting class you might want to look into that as well.... but exercise....

and dont eat things that are fattening

Try swimming!!!! It is a great way to build your shoulders an upper torso. You might think about taking some lessons in Tia quon do... those to help you find an edge that is harder to be pushed over...

You are young and still growing. Many youths your age look puny, but all that will change soon enough.

Swimming is good for upper body, well, its good for your entire body. Stick with breast stroke for building muscle. You need to work your entire body, not just one set of muscles.

Diet will also help. Make sure you are eating all the right food. Nuts, beans, rice, fish, lean meat, pultry, fresh fruit and veg. Dairy.
