Question: I'm addicted to!.!.!?
After a surgury about 8 months ago, i was prescribed vicodin for pain!. I took it as i was instructed an if i dident i experianced very bad pain!. I told my Dr!. and he just kept proscribing it for me (dont get me wrong, im not blaming him for his)!. I continued to take it for roughtly 3 months before he told me i should stop taking it!. I was in so much pain i could bearly get out of bed to go to work in the morning so i started buying lortab from a guy i know (a friend from college, but he's still a drug dealer) I been taking about 50 -60mg's of lortab a day!. An if i dont take it im in horrible pain, im in a bad mood, im sick to my stomach, im overall!.!.!.misserable!. I knew i was addicted to it when i started to buy it but dident think it was a problem untill recently when i couldent buy it because the guy was out of town!. I know im addicted to it, but im really not a bad person or anything!. I want to stop badly, how!? Do i go to the hospital!? What do i do!? I know withdraw is going to be badWww@Answer-Health@Com

yes - the withdrawal will be bad!. You can usally get help, but !. !. !. knowing you need help is the first step!. Cold turkey is going to be the hardest way, but I would suggest you plan to take 1 week off work so you can stay home and get through it!. The only other way is wean off slowly!. Your choice, me I went cold turkey and am no clean (still in a little pain, but !. !. !. taking hot baths and alieve helps)Www@Answer-Health@Com

i no the feeling i had a bad experiance with tramadol and codine I went to the doctors and he helped me to get off it took a while but it worked good luck to u hope all goes wellWww@Answer-Health@Com
Go to the ER and be honest with them!. They will help you!. You may have to go to rehab!.

Contact your doctor immediately and tell him what you have been doing and why!. He will be able to get you into a drug rehab center so you can kick this habit!. Good for you for realizing you are addicted, that's the first step to recovery!!
You should also turn in your so-called "friend" the drug dealer to the police! What if he gave you something other than Vicodin and it left you in a totally vegetative state!? benzodiazapines are tranqulizers, not pain pills!. you've not been taking them so long or so much you'd die!. I quit cold turkey!.
