Answers:
MOST, men are intact!. In the US, people dont really do it for religious reasons, they do it because it is something that was heavily pushed for medical reasons!.!.!. and kinda became part of the culture!. The rates are dropping now that the medical benefits were disproven, or found to be minimal!. However, the progress is slow since there is still a stigma and general misconceptions about being intact!. But more people realize the decision to remain intact or circumcise should be the choice of their son, not the parents!.

And of course, new studies with misleading results dont help!.!.!. such as an african HIV study which showed more infections in circed men, but several other studies done in other places in africa and in the US showed no/reverse correlation, meaning sexual practices and factors other then circ status affect STD rates!.!.!.!. but of course the media, pro-circ people, and those wanting to justify the circ they had performed love to reference the extremely misleading study!.

Circumcision as an adult is possible and even if we put aside the consent/rights, others reasons are that pain can properly be managed with strong meds, the guy can "customize" how he wants to be cut, and the foreskin is separated from the glans!.!.!.!. in infants the skin is "glued" to the head to prevent retraction/infection, which must be separated to circumcise!. The only "benefit" for infant circ is that pain isn't remember, which IMO, isn't important since the experience of pain is the worst part!.!.!.!. not to mention the guy can potentially have emotional/phsychological pain later if he regrets the decision his parents made!.!.!. which he cant change!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I was born with a hood!. Intend to keep it!. I live in NZ, where being circ'ed is very rare!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

1) Because every guy is born with foreskin so it SHOULD BE considered more natural !.!.
2) No
3) Some people think it's 'cleaner' but if any uncircumcised men washes like he should it is NO PROBLEM!
4) Yes
5) Yes it would hurt so they wouldn't do it most likely!.
6) their lover wouldn't love them too much if they made themWww@Answer-Health@Com

Why are some Women uncircumsized!?

Maybe they should cut the clitoris skin off so it's ''cleaner'', so they don't 'smell' like horrible men with a foreskin!.

(This is what idiotic American women say about men who haven't been genitally mutilated)!.

See how you feel now!? Not nice, is it!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

The majority of males around the world are uncircumcised!. Only a few countries practice mass male circumcision!. A male can get circumcised at any point in his life (excluding those who have already been circumcised, obviously) and most who have gone through life uncircumcised tend to remain that way, though some medical conditions require some to get circumcisions later in life!.

I am also more than positive that some males will get a circumcision for their lovers!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I was born this was, it's usually because of religion that people get circumcised, yes you can get a circumcision as an adult, I wouldn't want to do it!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

there are many risks involving circumsizion including infectious diseases and even deathWww@Answer-Health@Com

Most countries that don't circumize usually have free public health insurance!. And basicly the Public Health doesn't want to pay for it!.
In the USA our doctors get paid seperatly for it!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

You can get a circumcision as an adult, but it will hurt!.

My son is uncut, as i am cheap!. The at-birth circumcision would have cost an extra $150!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Are you kidding!? Most (not some) men are uncircumsized!.
Worldwide about 80-85% of men are uncircumsized!.

We are all born uncircumsized, but sometimes it is done for religious requirements (Jews and Muslims) or medical requirements!.
I'm guessing you're from the USA, where it is indeed more common to be circumsized!. However, outside of the USA its very uncommon!.

Less than 20% of guys in the following countries are circumsized:
UK, China, India, Brazil, Russia, New Zealand, Spain, France, Japan, Germany, Mexico, Italy, Ukraine, Colombia, Portugal, Argentina, Poland, Iceland, Ireland, Sweden, Norway, Finland, Denmark, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Switzerland, Netherlands, Belgium, Slovakia, Czech Rep, Hungary, Greece, Bulgaria, Romania, Moldova, Austria, Belarus, Mongolia, North Korea, Sri Lanka, Nepal, Bhutan, Thailand, Laos, Burma, Cambodia, Vietnam, Papua New Guinea, Rwanda, Burundi, Zambia, Zimbabwe, Malawi, Botswana, Namibia, Swaziland, Canary Islands, Belize, Costa Rica, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, Nicaragua, Panama, Cuba, Jamaica, Haiti, Dominican Rep, Bolivia, Chile, Ecuador, French Guiana, Guyana, Paraguay, Peru, Trinidad & Tobago, Venezuela and Puerto Rico!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Hi!. I'm an intact man in the USA!. I wasn't circumcised because my Mom protected me when I was born!. Thanks forever Mom!

1!. Would I do it for a lover!? Hell no!!! Although I've never had a complaint, I've heard that the foreskin makes for excellent 'shallow woman repellent'!.

2!. No, most men who are intact (i!.e!. still have their foreskin), would never have it done!. It's got little to do with pain, and a LOT to do with reduced pleasure, both for the man and his partner!. Would you have a surgery, say, to remove your color vision!? Probably not!.

3!. Most (like just about all the men outside the USA) are circumcised BECAUSE of religion, not the other way around!. Muslims and Jews do it, however for Christians the New Testament is crystal clear about circumcision - it's not necessary, and can be considered blasphemy in some cases since it contradicts the concept of grace!. Check out what St!. Paul had to say about it - he mentions it a number of times in his writings!.

4!. Yes you can get talked into a circumcision as an adult!. It's probably best to stay away from these guys; no telling what else/how easy they can get talked into almost anything!.

5!. On a final note, there is NO culture on earth known to do female genital cutting that doesn't also practice male circumcision!. Coincidence!? Hardly!.!.!.

Hope this helped!Www@Answer-Health@Com

All mamals (expept for monotremes) have a flap of skin around the glans or clitoris!. At first glance this would appear to provide protection to on the most sensitive areas of the body!.

In humans 60% of males and 98% of females retain this part of their anatomy in adulthood!. The question therefore would be better rephrased - or put on its head ;-):
why would some humans have their foreskin / clitoral hood removed!?

To deal firstly with the practice of female 'circumcision'!. A common view of this nowadays is reflected in the official terminology of female genital mutilation or cutting!. This is typically done for cultural and religious beliefs in young girls!. Justification on health grounds is now discredited and it is actively discouraged by the World Health Organisation!.

In males however the situation is seen as more complex!. Whilst in Western are tending away from the defacto practice on infants, circumciscion is being promoted as aiding sexual health!. This may be justified because the inner surface is weaker tissue when compared to the glans!. This may therefore be an easier path for infection when exposed during intercourse!.

It is also argued that removing the fold of skin removes an area where harmful bateria can thrive without careful hygiene!.

Now to the second part of your question!. Yes adult male circumcision is not unheard of and can have clear medical uses!. In the condition called Phimosis the man is born with a foreskin that does not retract as it should which can impede hygiene and cause discomfort during intercourse!.

I personally have also met a young man prepared to forgoe this small flap of skin so as to be accepted by the family of his muslim girlfriend's family!.

With modern anesthetics the surgery should not hurt but afterwards there is a month or so of abstinence required!.
Now there's the rub!

All the best,
MikeWww@Answer-Health@Com

Utltimately it is the parents decision when the little dude is born!. Some that have read on it feel it is unnessary to have it done to thier little dudes!. back in the days it was an automatic thing unless the parents didnt want to I was spared the knife and am glad for it!. It can be done as an adult and No i would not get it done for a lover!. She would have to love and be with me for me not my uncircumsized unit

Properly informed parents choose to leave their sons intact (a better description than "uncircumcised" because it does not imply that circumcision is normal)!. No medical organisation in the world recommends routine infant circimcision anymore, because they have deemed the risks to be higher than any claimed level of benefit!. Circumcision has never been practised in Continental Europe, except in Jewish and Islamic communities!. In UK it has not been popular for many years!. Rates in other western countries have plummeted within a generation, due to medical advice!. In the USA the rate is about 50%!. The demands of parents after 100 years of pro-cutting propaganda and some doctor's desire to keep their cash cow, have kept the procedure going in that country's private health system!.
The claimed benefits of circumcision are a beat up (based on flawed studies) and don't really exist!. One by one the claims are disproved but the pro-cutting zealots come up with more and keep quoting the old ones despite the evidence against them!. For example you have more chance of dying from a circumcision or losing your penis from infection than from penile cancer!. The rate of penile cancer is higher in the largely-circumcised USA than in European countries where less than 1% of the male population is circumcised!. Plus circumcised men have been found to have penile cancer, mostly on the scar!. (Remember this is a very rare disease in intact or circumcised men)!.
A very recent study in New Zealand followed a cohort of boys through life from birth to age 32!. About 40% were circumcised!. The intact males had a slightly lower rate of sexually transmitted infections than the circumcised but there was no significant difference!.
Circumcision is the amputation of the foreskin, not extra skin but an integral part of the penis; measuring 15 square inches in an adult and accounting for over half the penile skin, lots of specialised nerve endings and the most sensitive parts of the penis (as proved recently)!.
Using surgery to mutilate the genitals instead of washing in a modern western society makes no sense!. Normal intact male genitals are, if anything, easier to wash than female ones and the same substance, smegma collects in the genital folds of both sexes!. A few intact males have problems with tight foreskin but this is only a tiny proportion of intact males!. The condition can now be almost always treated with simple stretching exercises, sometimes in combination with a steroid cream that speeds up the process!. However doctors who do not value the preservation of the foreskin often still trot out circumcision as a first-option treatment in the US and even some other countries!.
I am circumcised and hate it!. I wish I'd been given the choice to choose for myself!. Intact men can choose to get cut at any time in their life, though most have no desire to do so!. The internet has shown that many men resent being circumcised!. It's just not something that most of us talk about a lot, even to our parents!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
