Answers:
First, from what you wrote, is this a 'libido' or an ED problem!? Libido and ED do not always go hand in hand!. That is, an ED problem MAY cause loss of libido, but a loss of libido does not always mean ED (erectile dysfunction)!.

A low testosterone level does not always necessarily mean low libido!. That occurs due to many conditions, issues, and so forth!. Some are psychological and some are physical!.

Has your husband been to a doctor for a blood test!?

As for your list, NONE of them increases libido!. High doses of selenium are toxic, as is zinc!.

Your husband NEEDS to consult a doctor and have his blood testosterone levels checked!. No doubt he should also be checked for an enlarged prostate and have a PSA test for prostatic cancer!.

Start with a good urologist!. If your husband does, in fact, have low testosterone levels, he is at risk for other problems as well (cardiac, etc)!. They will do a blood test and see what his levels are!. If, according to his age, etc his levels are considered LOW, there are several options:

1) testosterone injections!. These can be done at the doctor's office periodically or he can get the prescription to self-inject!.

2) Androgel is a colorless, fairly odorless ointment (it looks just like the hand sanitizer stuff you see) that he would rub onto his abdomen, and upper arms and shoulders once a day!.

3) There is a testosterone patch the he can wear like a nicotine patch!.

Each works fine!. Then in a few weeks or three months, he'll get his blood checked again and the dosage can be adjusted if needed!.

Don't pursue this 'self diagnostic' thing!. At best the stuff above will do nothing and at worse, he'll delay getting real help!.

You also need to examine stress and other psychological factors regarding his libido!.

L argenine is an amino acid!.!.!.and some studies show that it helps with erectile dysfunction!.!.!.

Arginine is a precursor of nitric oxide, which causes blood vessel relaxation (vasodilation)!. Preliminary evidence suggests that arginine may be useful in the treatment of medical conditions that are improved by vasodilation, such as angina, atherosclerosis, coronary artery disease, erectile dysfunction, heart failure, intermittent claudication/peripheral vascular disease, and vascular headache!. Arginine also stimulates protein synthesis and has been studied for wound healing, bodybuilding, enhancement of sperm production (spermatogenesis), and prevention of wasting in people with critical illness!.

Note : Arginine vasopressin is different from arginine/L-arginine, with an entirely different mechanism!. NG-monomethyl-L-arginine is different from arginine/L-arginine, and functions as an inhibitor of nitric oxide synthesis!. For it to have any effect on ED you have to take literally GRAMS of it a day to have any effect!.

And one of the 'side' effects of way too much argenine would be that it allows cold sore (herpes virus, oral) to be more active!.

Most people likely do not need to take arginine supplements because the body usually makes sufficient amounts!.

You also did not mention if your husband is currently taking any other medications, like high blood pressure meds, or anti-depressants!. Diabetes also drastically affects erectile function and one of the early signs of diabetes IS ED!.

So your husband may be 50 or he may be 25 - you did not say, so we will have to guess!. A 25 or 30 yr old male CAN suffer from low testosterone, ESPECIALLY if he carries a lot of weight around the belly area!. BELLY fat retains testosterone and a significant amount can cause these problems!.

If he's 50 then he's in the same boat with hundreds of thousands of other men - and still needs to consult a urologist!.

If he as an AVID bicycle rider, he's no doubt caused prostate problems by the bicycle seat pressing underneath the prostate!. It can cause that 'numb nuts' feeling!. It can damage the nerves that feed the prostate and penis!.

But please don't think that you can 'fix' this by a couple of food supplements!. So you have a lot of research to do, both YOU and HIM regarding his problem!.

Good Luck!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

POTATOES!Www@Answer-Health@Com

What are his turn ons!? - never mind the drugs, ask him what are his turn ons (if you don't already know)!.!.!. ie, is he a leg man!? - if so get the stockings and the heels!.!.!. a breast man!? something to enhance your breasts!. Good luck!Www@Answer-Health@Com

I don't think it's best at increasing libido, but zinc is necessary to maintain it!. Seafood has zinc and I can't ever forget a sushi chef saying,,,, "Grandpa 70 year old had wife and four mistresses!. Sushi! STAMINAAAA !!!! "Www@Answer-Health@Com

maybe he doesn't care to sleep with you!? if not, why not see a doctor and get a complete blood profile done to determine if it's an endocrine disorder, instead of posting this question on the internet!? I would say get him a 21 year old hot hooker!.!.!. that would increase his desire!Www@Answer-Health@Com
