Answers:
Almost certainly no!. The only way it might happen would be if you found an old razor on a trash dump and used that!

But it is a good idea to sterilize a razor daily anyway!.

Few things that might be useful:

Scrubbing a razor with a toothbrush in ordinary household bleach and detergent mixed with say 10 times the volume of water, then soak in the mixture for 10 minutes will kill almost any bacteria!. For safety don't leave the solution in a cup within easy reach of children!. I soak my razor daily for a few minutes then leave to dry in the shaving mug (with the head up!.)

Rubbing alchohol (Ispopropyl alcohol) which can be bought for a $ a bottle at a corner store or pharmacy will also kill almost any of them!. Use it on a cotton swab to clean a minor wound!. IP is poisonous if swallowed!. A pharmacy will also be able to recommend less drastic disinfection agents (this one stings, but its worth knowing about in an emergency)

You should know if you have an up-to-date tetanus jab!. If you don't know then see a medic, get a shot (cheap), and get a vaccination slip that you can carry in your purse or wallet!. That way if you get sick a medic can quickly check what jabs you have had and when!. Might save your life one day!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Just wash out the cut with alocohol!. That should keep infection at bay, and eat healthy and vitamins!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

you should gwet it cheaked out by a docter!. just to be safeWww@Answer-Health@Com

You NEVER shave with a rusty razor !.!.!.!. so, yes !.!. you need to go get the shot just to be safe !.!.!.!.!. those germs are micro !.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Clean it really well and watch for infection!. Ask your doctor when your last tetnus shot was to be safe!. I think you only have to get them every 10 years!? Buy some new razors! It's not illeagal to go to the store with a shadow if you need to buy more!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

short answer: no!. tetanus does not reside in rust per se, but in places that are not clean & not out in the open air!. I seriously doubt your razor blade, no matter how rusty, could carry tetanus!. in addition, washing the wound with soap & water significantly lowers the chance for tetanus!. also, if you have been vaccinated sometime in your life, espicially in the past 5- 10 years, you are covered!. how would you know if you had tenanus!? muscles spasms, can't breathe, sick as hell!. but by then it is too late!.!.!.!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

to make sure, go see a doctor!.!.!. tetanus is dangerous!.!.!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

No, you wont have Tetanus!. Tetanus doesn't grow well with oxygen!.

Tetanus is often associated with rust, especially rusty nails, but this concept is somewhat misleading!. Objects that accumulate rust are often found outdoors, or in places that harbor anaerobic bacteria, but the rust itself does not cause tetanus nor does it contain more C!. tetani bacteria!. The rough surface of rusty metal merely provides a prime habitat for a C!. tetani endospore to reside!. An endospore is a non-metabolising survival structure that begins to metabolise and cause infection once in an adequate environment!. Because C!. tetani is an anaerobic bacterium, it and its endospores will thrive in an environment that lacks oxygen!. Hence, stepping on a nail (rusty or not) may result in a tetanus infection, as the low-oxygen (anaerobic) environment of a puncture wound provides the bacteria with an ideal breeding ground!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Tetanus boosters are given every ten years!. Have you had a booster in the last ten years!?Www@Answer-Health@Com
