i just saw something about this on the local news!. they said that even though your car may call for a higher premium gas, it isnt necessary!. it may help with overall performance going with premium, but they said with the current situation with gas prices, that you should only purchase what you can afford because it wont do any damage to your car or cause you any signifigant changes!.

good question, now go save some money and get the cheap stuff!Www@Answer-Health@Com

The owners manual should tell you the minimum recommended octane of fuel to use!. you can use lower grade, but you risk damaging the engine!. Some cars recommend low grade, others midgrade and some premium!. all depends on the engine, if its turbo charged or supercharged or what not!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Yea, unfortunately it might have negative effects on your engine if you switch gas types!. Either way it probably won't go into effect for a while if you use regular, so go for it!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

You can put regular gas but as long as its a good type of gas like Chevron or Mobil not the cheap ARCO or gas like that!. But it really should be the premium for best performanceWww@Answer-Health@Com

it is possible, but i wouldn't recommend putting in regular, bad for the gas tank!Www@Answer-Health@Com
