There are a couple of reasons that I can think of right away: 1)You're not getting enough sleep or the sleep you're getting is not the RIGHT kind of sleep!. I would do some simple experiments to determine if the room where you sleep is quiet enough at night for you to get the proper types of sleep!. 2)You could have a mild form of depression or some physical ailment that is preventing you from getting the REST you need!.
Having any conflicts at school or work!? Both of these can leave you "on edge" and prevent you from truly relaxing - because of the dread of having to return to the same situation you left the day before!.

If the doctor ran tests and ruled out anemia and diabetes and such, then I'd look at depression and excessive weight!. If you're not overweight, it could be depression and you not even realize it!. I wonder if he checked your iron level!?

Do also feel sad or lonely sometimes and not even know why!? Do experience anxiety!? Do you worry!?

How do you feel about yourself!? Do you think you're attractive!? Do you believe you'll be a successful person!? Do you have confidence in yourself!?

Do you lay in bed for hours at a time for no particular reason!? Would you rather close your eyes and daydream than join your friends in a pick-up game of basketball!?

Do you feel that no one appreciates you or even realizes you're in the room!? Do you feel isolated!? Have you ever thought about killing yourself even though you know you wouldn't do it!?

Depending on how you answer these questions, you may need to see a different doctor -- one who specializes in depression!. You may also need to see a therapist!.

There's no shame in trying to feel better!. If you literally had a hole in your heart, you'd want to get that treated, right!? So if you figuratively have a hole in your heart, you'll want to get that treated, too!.

Doctors aren't much help with fatigue usually!. It isn't they are taught to fix!. You might try a naturopath!.

Along with what everyone else suggested, it could hormonal imbalance problems!.

Depression can cause fatigue, but fatigue will eventually lead to depression even if that isn't the root cause!. It's really depressing to not be able to do what you want to do!.
