Testicular Problems??!

Question: Testicular Problems!?!?
My fiancee is having problems with his testes so I have a serious question to ask!. Ok, he said on his way home from work he felt like he had to have a bowel movement so he held it until he got home!. There was some slight pressure and discomfort in the pelvic area like he was full/constipated but when he finally went to the bathroom he did not have to push hard for it to come out!. So, next he noticed that when he was up walking around there was slight pain and pressure in his pelvic area as well as his right testicle being pushed up and the sac swollen with some slight pain!. When he lies down the pain goes away!. The occasional pain in the pelvis is not the major problem but the right testicle is still drawn up,and not as swollen as before but it hurts ALOT more (the scrotum)!. To relieve this pain he has had to lay in bed all day!. Standing/walking makes the pain worse!. The left testicle is fine!. What could this be!?!?!?!?!? PLEASE GIVE GOOD INFO WITHOUT LINKS-I've done that already!. Thanks!Www@Answer-Health@Com

I'm not a Doctor, I'm talking from personal experience!.

It could be epididymitus!. That's a bacterial infection of the tubes that suspend the testicles!. This can spread!. He would probably be running a low grade temperature because of the infection!.

There is also a condition where the epidydium gets in a bind and blood flow gets cut off to the testicle!. He could loose a testicle over this!.

He needs to go to his Urologist TOMORROW!. If he can't get in or doesn't have a urologist, go to the EMERGENCY ROOM!. This is not something to ignore!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

The problem to be concerned about is torsion of the testis!. This is a disorder where the testicle rotates on its pedicle and compromises the testicular blood supply and can infarct the testis (the testis dies)!. This process is imperative to diagnose immediately!. It is to be differentiated from epididymitis which is an inflammation of the epididymis which is painful but not lethal to the testis!. They can be determined via ultrasound of the scrotum!. See a urologist or your local ER right away if not sooner!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Go to the doctor immediately!. i had a staph infection down there and i was scared to go till the pain was too bad!.!.!. the doctor said if i had waited it could have killed me!.!.!. everywhere i looked on the internet said if you don't go immediately for any problem down there you can lose it!.!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Any time you have any discomfort in your testicals (his int this case) it should be taken very seriously!. Reproductive organs are nothing to be baken lightly!. Recommend that he go and see a doctor IMMEDIATELY for his own safety!. It may be that he has a hernia (pretty common in the groin area)!. Get him to a doctor or the ER asap!. Waiting too long could end up in the loss of a testical if something is twisted inside(no joke!)

Hope this helps!Www@Answer-Health@Com

You didn't mention his approx!. age,

some things it may be!.!.!.

Epididymitis (inflammation), a Torsion, Hernia, hydrocele, varicocele - but I'd say - make an apt!. with a Urologist!. He may need a Sonogram-which is an easy and inexpensive test!.

In some cases - if it is an inflammatory process ibruprofin may help- in some cases antibiotics in others it is better to get an exam and talk to a Dr!. he may need other medical care or surgery - if there is an issue with the cord/torsion!.

Hope that helps!Www@Answer-Health@Com

It could be a hernia or a kidney stone!. The pain sounds like a kidney stone, but the the constipated feeling could come from a hernia!. HE needs to go to the doctor and get that taken care off!. His prostate as well as testicules could be at stake!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

There is a possability that he has suffered a rupture !.!.!.!.!. he needs to get to a Doctor or even an ER IMMEDIATELY as if it is strangulated hernia !.!.it can be VERY Serious and even fatal !.Www@Answer-Health@Com

My hubby had a similar problem, he had an ultrasound on the testie and it turned out to be a cyst!. Get it checked by a doctor asap!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Call an athletic trainer at a gym or the hospital and ask them questions about it!. They will know more than anyone on here can answer!. They are certified!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I'm very sorry, and I hope he feels better soon!. I know you didn't want links, but I think you should check out the webmd!.com "Symptom Checker" if you haven't already!.
