In countries that value food more than the US(the amount of food waste we have is astronomical), very little of an animal slaughtered for food is left over!.
While it maybe gross to you, there are many delicacies all over the world that are prized!. Intestines, eyeballs, brains, etc!. If you were starving, you would eat it!.
Ever had duck or goose liver pate!? Calves liver and onions!? Sweetbreads!?(pancreas of a calf)!.

I think it's pretty gross, but it's just because American culture doesn't do it much!. To me the texture would be the worst part; we eat so many other parts of the animal that it's just a cultural taboo that we don't eat the testes!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
