Does trimming/shaving trigger hair to grow at faster rate?!

Question: Does trimming/shaving trigger hair to grow at faster rate!?
because i swear that is a yes!. for mustache, beard, and legsWww@Answer-Health@Com

Answers:
No it doesn't grow back faster, it's a common misconseption!.
When you shave your moustache off, when the hair starts growing again it initially grows outwards which makes it look as if it's growing fast, but once the hair gets to a certain length and starts growing down it will appear that the speed of growth has slowed down!. Really it grows at the same speed no matter what- except of coarse that the older you get the faster it grows!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Initially, yes it does!. But it's short-lived!. The follicle grows back thicker, or coarser but soon settles into its normal pattern!. And it's so minute as to be negligible!.

Oh, and a trimmed tree, DOES grow back faster, but as new shoots sprouting out!.!. and it depends on the time of year, so an invalid comparison IMO!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

NO!!! I argue with my brother on this all the time!. If you had a tree growing in your yard and you cut the top off, would that make the tree grow faster!? NO!

Some people will confuse shaving as the cause for more hair growth when really they are just getting older and it is happening anyways!.

I am 30 and I shave every 2 weeks!. My hair growth has not gotten any faster and I can't get a beard!.

So to your question, no it does not make growth happen fasterWww@Answer-Health@Com
