Vasectomy Question.?!

Question: Vasectomy Question!.!?
My husband had a Vasectomy the first of Febuary!. He said that when the Doctor clipped the left testical he could feel the pressure and it was painful!. The doctor ended up giving him more medicine, but the damage was already done!. Now 4 months later he claims that the testical still hurts while having sex and ejaculating!. He also claims that the power of his orgasms are less then they used to be!. He wont go back to the doctor right now because our insurence has changed and he dosent want to go to our family doctor to talk about this!. I think it is all in his head!. Anyone have any similar exsperiances!? Could there really be something wrong!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

Answers:
Your husband is having a 'hang up' because he thinks he is less of a man now!. There is nothing physically wrong with him!. Vasectomies do not cause what he is claiming!.

He needs to get psychiatric help before his makes himself believe that his is going impotent and does!. His problem is all in his imagination!. What he is experiencing happens in about 1% of men that get vasectomies!. Some even go back to reversal!. Even if the reversal failed to work (most do), the many belives he is better, and the syptoms go away!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Talk to your family doctor or go to urologist!.I had the pain and it should not last more than two days!.This is a good thing and you can have more sex without fear of having more children!. Sex is the bottom line for a happy marriage and you have to have a soft heart and cool head!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

i got nasuous when they cut one!. in fact the doc said it is kind of a reflex reaction that some men have and that he sees it on occasion!. as for the orgasm, i was tender for months after, and my climax didnt feel as intense for a few months as well!. in time it heals up better!. he just has to give it time!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

they don't clip the testicle, they clip the tube that carries the sperm, the cut is made on the underside of the penis!. see your family doctor no matter the cost!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Dear Shell, I can understand how difficult this must be for both of you!. Do you know why he is unwilling to share his concern with his family practitioner!? They frequently discuss this type of thing with patients!. Has he gone back to the surgeon and explained all of this completely and honestly!? Follow up appointments are often free!. I suggest he go back and see the doctor and not leave until he is satisfied with the proposed remedy, even if it is to see a therapist!. It may be a combination of both pain and thoughts!. I'm guessing it is more of the latter!. Get it taken care of no matter how much it costs!. Things like this can lead to much bigger problems in your relationship!. It sounds like you are already thinking less of him and you're not gonna want him if you can't respect him!. Good luck!Www@Answer-Health@Com

i mean there could have been some kind of complication from the surgury!. but if there was something that went wrong i think that the doc would have said some thing or said that if it hurt later to come back in!.!.!.i may just be in his head!. as far as powerful orgasms it could be that he feels that they arent as powerful because sub consisously he know that there is no sperm in the ejaculation, its the male complex feeling like less of a man because hes shooting blanks!.!.!.its crazy but soem guys feel that way if it doesnt improve i would go to the doc tell him that he is not less of a man and make him feel that way during sex!. if that doesnt help go to the doc cuz something could have happened and maybe his testicle is still producing sperm!. or at least trying to produce it/!.!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

He clipped his testicle!? Does the doctor actually have a license to practice!? Was he drunk!? I think you should seek legal advice!.
I had a vasectomy and my doctor put a tiny little hole in my scrotum and actually pulled the vas out the hole then clipped it!. Absolutely no where near my testicles!. Are you sure that the doctor didn't damage the testicle when he was numbing the area!?
Seriously, that should NOT happen!. There should not be any pain!. Go to another Urologist and get a second opinion!. THEN seek legal matters!

By the way, reading the other answers I wanted to say that after I had mine done, I didn't feel any different!. My drive increased and my "O's" are just as intense as they always were!.

GOTCHYA!!! I get it!

Ok, the bruising sometimes can last for a long time!. Make sure he uses an athletic supporter (Jockstrap) at all times until it heals!. Even though there is no visible bruising, it still could be bruised on the inside!. There is a lot of movement down there when walking!. It could take quite a while to heal!. Also, when you are intimate, you should be on top so they don't swing in the breeze!. But the main thing is, keep those things supported until they heal!Www@Answer-Health@Com
