Question: How come most of the time when i laugh my eyes will sometimes get teary!?

Believe it or not almost all strong emotions can make your eyes tear (cry)!.
You are probably most familiar with crying when being sad, but I would wager you have, or have seen some one who has cried when they were overwhelmingly happy!.
Strong emotional feelings such as a good hard laugh, sadness or embarrassment cause physical responses too, like being out of breath, tearing or blushing!.

Interesting question!. If you want the physiological answer, I think it's largely dependent on the level of excitement the laugh generates!. The brain induced nerve impulse that makes your larynx pulse, your lungs pant, your eyes screw up and your face smile must also sympathetically stimulate the tear ducts to produce tears!. The tears are probably just a by product of this stimulation!. Any possible use this might have psychologically and culturally I cannot guess at! It is interesting that anger and frustration also sometimes "reduces us to tears"!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
