Everywhere does it a bit different, but here's what I'm familiar with:
Firstly they check hieght and weight!. They also may do plot it on a growth chart to observe development and or puberty!. They listen to your heart and lungs!. Sometimes they do a vision or hearing test!. Blood test via a finger prick is also common to check hemoglobin levels (that oxgen carrier in red blood cells)!. Urine is normally checked!. They check for hernias by looking at the anus and or placing a finger into a flap of skin (specific place, hard to explain) near the penis and telling you to "turn your head and cough!." Based on the pressure of your body expanding when you cough tells the doctor whether or not you're okay!.
Another major part is discussion!. Moreso in some offices than others!. They talk about diet, excercise, puberty, family relationships, masturbation, constipation, acne, drugs, sex, you name it!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
