Question: Sore lump found under my skin where the arm pit joins the pectoral muscle!?
i am in shape !.!.!. i run 8-10 miles every other day!. i do push-ups!.!. i dont have an ounce of fat on me !.!. i eat right!. what the hell is this bump!? i woke up this morning!.!.!. did my normal stretch over the head and i could feel something pulling from my arm pit around and under my left pec muscle!. i started to massage it a little thinking it was sore from working 16 hours on my wood floor yesterday but then i felt this lump about the size of a pea!. should i be worried about this!.!.!. is it possible for a 24 year old, extremely active and in shape male to have breast cancer!?!?Www@Answer-Health@Com


Answers:
You've discovered a lymph node!. These are normal and exist as sites where the body fights off infections!. You might have had an infection in that arm (even something as minor as a hangnail), or a recent sore throat!. These things can make a lymph node swell up a bit and become a little sore!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

yes it is possible but the lump would be near your nipple!. however right where you are feeling are small clusters of lymph nodes and one of them sounds enlarged!. check with your doctor if it doesn't go away in a couple of days or gets bigger!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
