McDonalds a good source of protein after weight lifting?!

Question: McDonalds a good source of protein after weight lifting!?
I noticed that there are 48g of protein in a McDonalds double-quarter pounder!. Thats a lot of protein for cheap, and I'm trying to bulk up, so would that be a good thing to eat after a weight lifting workout!?

-And don't tell me how bad McDonalds is for your health or it has loads of fat/calories etc!., because I know that!.

I'm just trying to lift weights, bulk up, and recover effectively with proteinWww@Answer-Health@Com

I personally don't think so for the reasons you've mentioned!. The human body (unless you're taking steroids) tends to gain fat with muscle after a while, so eating a lot of fat is just going to hurt you in the long run!. I mean, you may as well buy a carton of eggs and eat them all - it's 72 grams of protein for the price of two dollars!. Or you can buy a rotisserie chicken for five bucks and eat half each day - that's about 50+ grams!. All for a lot less fat, too!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

It sounds like you are already committed to eating at McDonalds, so why ask!. Seriously, if you're looking for a "cheap" source of protein, you can pick up a pre-made protein shake at any grocery or health store without the high cholestorol that accompanies a double quarter pounder!. "Pure Protein", for example has 38g of protein per can and the costs between $1!.59 and $1!.79, depending on where it is purchased (it's cheaper at Trader Joes)!.

Met-Rx also makes a number of shakes ranging in protein grams!. Their Met-Rx 51, has 51 grams of protein!. This is a pretty universal brand so it can be purchased in Target, GNC,Trader Joes, etc!.

Bottom Line: If you are looking for a cheap source of high protein there are other ways to get it!. If you want to eat at McDonalds then do so, it's not necessary to justify it with the high protein argument!. Seriously!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

agree with yuki!.!.!.

theres a difference between soemthing being cheap and good value!. Maccas is cheap but not good value for what you are getting!. Lets say maccas brought out a burger with zero fat and zero preservatives then id say go for it!.

Find a cheap protein powder or as above, eggs/chicken/cans of tuna etcWww@Answer-Health@Com

McDonalds is **** retard!. You'll bulk up alright if you eat that trash!. Eat healthy foods that are high in calories because there are quite a few!. You will be unhealthy and out of shape if you try that!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

NO!! Are you crazy!?!
The protein is produced via loads of hormones pumped into the cow!. McDonalds has pretty much NO nutritional value!.!.
Eating mcDonalds will def!. ,make you bigger, by adding fat NOT muscles!Www@Answer-Health@Com
