Maturity is more important here than growth!. But the answer is definitely yes!.

But one of my best college teammates never weighed more than 113 lbs!. We called him "Mouse!." But on the track he was the mouse that roared, running a dynamite mile and three-mile!. Unfortunately, his knees went bad and he never finished his career!.

My brother and I were big shouldered farm kids!. We were pretty intimidating on the track or cross country course!. A lot of pushing and shoving went on in college, but no one ever messed with me!. I think they just knew that if they laid a hand on me, the race would be over and the fight would be on!

My brother, grew an inch after he was in college, topping out around 5-11!. So I always had hope!. My arms grew, but my legs did not!. No problem!. The shorter strides made me a better hill runner, and when I was a college freshman I beat my senior brother in two key races!. He's taller, but my arms have a two-inch longer reach!. Go figure!.

There isn't any perfect size or shape for a distance runner!. Proper training and race know-how will improve your time!. But there's something else !.!.!. something very important, Dan, and that's your "want to!." If you want to excel on the track, especially in the distances, you've got to be willing to sacrifice and "go for it!."Www@Answer-Health@Com

of course, your body is fully developed, and it will be able to create muscle on a bone structure no longer needing to grow, so your body can go to it's full potential once done growing!.

also, the fact your taller will = longer strides, creating a much more successful speed in running!.

(been sprinting in tournaments for years, older i get, the better i do) im 16 as of now, i break my record every yearWww@Answer-Health@Com

yeah!.!. if you keep it up you'll reach peak physical performance between ages 20-25!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
