Answers:
I have to do these every 5 years!. Technically, you can eat whatever you like, but the prep on Sunday night is going to flush everything out!.
I eat light, just because the diarrhea is a little better to deal with!. Also, I want it clean in there, because I don't want him missing anything while looking around!.:)Www@Answer-Health@Com

Before my colonoscopy/rectal surgery last summer, the last two nights I splurged with all the foods I really loved to eat, because I knew that everything was going to get flushed out the night before the colonoscopy/surgery!.

If it's "just" a colonoscopy, eat whatever you like but avoid food with small seeds!.

If they give you Miralax (polyethylene glycol) to mix in a liquid to flush everything out, I recommend mixing it into ice cold Gatorade -- chilled to the point of being slightly slushy!. It makes the texture MUCH more palatable!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

A very good question!. When I had a colonoscopy I was on a clear liquid diet for two days and had to take a special laxative to completely clean out my system!. If your dr!. only directed you to have clear fluids Sunday, I wouldn't worry about what you eat!. He has the medical degree!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
