I've been told it's because they have to pee, also they have them all night long while sleeping!. I think they can have up to 90 erections in one night!. I may have the number wrong!.!.!.but I know it's alto!. A friend of mine is an EEG tech and sometimes during a sleep study they have to count the amount of erections the patient has had during the night while sleeping!.
