Question: Helppppp please!!!!!!!?
For the past six months I had a fungus on my chest, thought it'll go away but the fungus spread on my back and chest!. Visited the doctor and found out that I have some kind of FUNGUS! When I picked up my perscription I noticed that the label states FLUCONAZOLE TABLET 150mg!?!?!?!?!? When I opened the packet it says "Your doctor has prescribed fluconazole for a vaginal yeast* infection!?!?!?!?!? WTF!?!?!?!?!?!?
Im a guy with a penis not a vagina :\
Plus I got a cream and the six tablets, will this cure my rash, it looks like a rash!. Although doc said it is a fungus!.
Can this be generic, I saw signs of it, two weeks after when I slept with this girl, whom I later found out was a junky :\
I joined the military, please help me before I leave for basic!.!.!.!.

Don't worry, fluconazole (Diflucan) is an anti-fungal used to treat a wide variety of fungal infections but most commonly those that are contracted by women (vaginal fungal infections)!. Yes, men can also get genital fungal infections but it is much harder due to the length of the urethra!.

Take the medicine as directed!. If no resolution of the infection, go see a dermatologist!.

Hope you heal soon!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Fluconazole is a generic anti-fungal drug!. However, if the packet said yeast infection specifically, I'd double check with the doctor!.

The fungus may be irritating your skin which could cause the rash!. Again, just double check with your doctor and ask him your questions!.

And I've never heard of a fungal STD!. Could it have been the bed sheets or something!? I really don't know where you could've picked it up, but I doubt it was off a junky's body!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Not only women get yeast infections!. It is just that vaginal yeast is most common!. Yeast infections happen in areas that tend to stay moist!. You probably were sweating alot which gave it a warm moist area to grow in!. Don't worry it's not anything to do with a vagina!. The cream and pill should take care of it but you may want to get some kind of powder to put on you chect under your shirt to help keep it dry!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

this seems normal!.

my uncle has the same thing!.
he has to take weird medication and vitamins and stuff like you do!.

i hope yours goes away though!.
my uncle's is on and off!.

Take the pills!. That can be used for many types of fungi!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Be careful!. I wouldn't mention putting cream on your bare chest!. There are some uptight people who will report you!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
