Cholesterol is funny thing!. It can be genetic and/or environmental!. If it's not genetic, a change in diet typically does it!. Almost all fast food, most chain restaurants and all that processed food you get as TV dinners or the more modern gourmet versions are laden with cholesterol causing agents such as high sodium and saturated fats, besides sulfites (being found at popular salad bars as a preservative to keep the lettuce greener longer) and MFG (which is being found in a lot of Mexican food) which are also just as negative!.

If it's too high, the doctor can prescribe some drugs that will artifically lower!. If genetic, it might be a life time drug!.

Another crucial part that most are never aware of, eating oatmeal and cheerios can be bad if you have a food allergy for oats!. About 40% of people in the world are allergic to oats, so if you eat a lot, it will cause all kinds of other issues!. Before you go long on such diets, you might want to get tested for food allergies!. Some can tell by the bloating, and sick feeling after eating, but not all!. If you allergic to a food, not the severe reactions, but neverless toxic your body, it's just as counterpoductive to load up on it!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
