Would you prefer your son circumcised or not?!

Question: Would you prefer your son circumcised or not!?
WHY!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

Answers:
I would never submit a son of mine to the procedure of circumcision!. Firstly it's very cruel to do to a baby!. Secondly there are no benefits!. And thirdly the foreskin has a definite function and provides a lot of sexual pleasure to the owner (I know this for a fact - I have been fortunate enough that I have had all my sexual experiences with intact men and it is not dirty or ugly or anything)!.

If there was a medical need for it in childhood then I would go ahead but most foreskin problems can be easily treated in other ways and I would investigate all other options before surgery!.

Of course once my sons turned 18 they would be free to do what they wanted!. I would be disappointed if they chose to get circumcised, because of the foreskin pleasure and functions I mentioned earlier, but it would be absolutely their choice and if I felt they had researched it and knew what they were doing then I wouldn't complain about them choosing to get it done!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I don't have a son and am unlikely to at my age!.
Hypothetically, therefore, I would prefer my son to be circumcised because I was!. I am not advocating it out of a sense of tradition or whatever but on the grounds that when I was eventually circumcised I regretted it not being done earlier!. Unfashionable as such an opinion may be it really is a trivial operation in early childhood and the later you leave it the more traumatic it is!. OK I accept that some will say the child should have the right to choose but I regard this as of such minor significance that rather like vaccination it is a preventative health measure where the parent should take responsibility!. I might add that my father and step-brother were circumcised as adults too because of paraphimosis and in both cases a lot of anguish could have been avoided if the operation had been done earlier!.
It's a sensible preventative treatment!.The wisdom of thousands of years which make circumcision the world's oldest operation should not be dismissed glibly by people who have not had the benefit of it!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Circumcision is quite practical, It can prevent a lot of problems later in life!. It is cleaner and more sanitary!. It makes it less likely to not only to get STD's but also lowers the chance to spread them!. There is also a much lower rate of penile cancer in circumcised individuals!. Though scientists are unsure of the exact reason why there is still a correlation!. It also prevents a ton of horrible problems that can happen!.
Circumcision also removes the restriction that can be caused by the foreskin, meaning the penis will actually be able to grow larger than it would with a foreskin!.
There is less smell and no SMEGMA!. Reason alone to do it!.

I have yet to meet a woman who said that she prefered uncircumsized men!. Which alone is strange!.

The only reason not to would really be worry about a complication from the procedure!. These are pretty rare but do happen!.

Some anti-circumcision people say there is a strong loss of sensitivity but in the same breathe say how it makes it too sensitive because clothing can rub against it!. This of course is pretty much nonsense!.

But neither choice is fundamentally wrong!. It is probably better that if there is a circumcision it should be done earlier in life versus later where there can be more problems and it hurts more (well you can remember the pain more anyway)!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I would never subject anyone to that ridiculous, old-fashioned, barbaric and useless mutilation!.

There is no benefit whatsoever to circumcision, except to the doctors' bank accounts and the religious groups trying to force this practice on others!.

Circumcision destroys at least 50% or more of penile sensitivity!. The most sensitive parts of the penis are the inner skin and frenulum, which are removed and mutilated with circumcision!.

Circumcision can cause catastrophic infection, gangrene, distorted and painful erections (they always remove too much skin--evidently they don't realize that the penis increases in size and girth during erection), sexual dysfunction, and severe psychological problems!.

Intact men experience orgasms which are much more intense than circumcised men!. Intact men are more responsive to their partners as they have more feeling in the penis!.

Americans have been lied to and misinformed because these special interests want to mutilate them!. Europeans laugh at American "partial penises" and 80% of the rest of the world is intact!. American men have been cheated out of a complete sexuality!.

Foreskins are not dirty!. The female genitals are much more difficult to clean--look at all of the products for this!. There isn't one product whatsoever for cleaning the foreskin, as normal bathing takes care of this!.

Foreskins are not prone to disease any more than any other part of the body!.

Phimosis can be cured/treated without circumcision---doctors like to amputate the foreskin for any reason--even a small skin problem (such as you can get on any part of the body)

Female circumcision is mutilation
Male circumcision is mutilation
Infant circumcision is infant sexual abuse and a violation of the basic human right to an intact and whole body!.

Circumcision is UNNATURALWww@Answer-Health@Com

intact is the only way to go IMHO!.

the foreskin contains hundreds of sensitive nerve endings that can add so much to the pleasure of sex and masturbation!. Plus foreskin is designed to cover and protect the glans/head of the penis!. It keeps it from chafing 24/7 against clothing as well as from drying out!. Having foreskin thus prevents loss of sensitivity in the glans!.

sure some say it is cleaner but soap and water applied daily looks after that!.
some say it looks nice to be cut but they are often not seeing enough penises with foreskin to really judge!.
some say it prevents STI's!. Basically that is baloney!. A penis can get STI's if it gets in contact with bodily fluids from an infected person!. Only abstinence or condoms are goign to help lower that risk!.
some say it is better for sex!.!. yet most fo them never had a foreskin on while having sex having been cut at birth!.
some don't know what to do with any excess when putting on a condom!. However education is way easier than cutting it off!.

sure some religions believe in circumcision but that can be deferred until the child is older and makes his own decision!. Also there is a difference between a ritual circumcision and a medical one!. Thus most religions would be happy if just a wee bit of foreskin is removed rather than some doctor trying to remove all the skin he can!.

So, I would leave my son with all his body parts intact and not allow any of them to be removed unless there were a serious medical problem!. However once he is of age to decide his foreskin is his to keep or remove!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Well I am in Britain where it isn't done except for extreme medical reasons so circumcision never comes up here!.

The rate in America is now 50% which is good because it used to be a lot higher!.

Many people don't know what you lose when you are circumcised:

http://research!.cirp!.org/index-e!.html
http://xrl!.us/ForeskinFunctions

It isn't recommended by the American Academy of Paediactrics or any other medical association and is no cleaner as some people say so there really isn't a reason to do it!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Uncircumcised unless there was a medical need for it, example tight foreskin!.
However, some do it for religious reasons, so if it is part of someone's belief then that would influence them!.
There is no reason for hygiene purposes as long as he keeps himself clean on a regular daily basis!.

My two sons are uncircumsized because there was no need to do it and I think they will have better sex as adults because the head won't be desensitized by having rubbed on clothing all his life!.

My dad was uncircumsized, born in 1933, grew up on farms and never had any trouble with his penis!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Yes I would!. This would be to spare him from going through what I had to endure for so many years!. Foreskins are terrible!. I do not know of anyone who was circumcised as an adult and regrets it!. If I could have my foreskin back right now I would just get circumcised again!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

My son would be uncircumcised because I want him to enjoy the full benefits of having an intact penis!. Why should I take that away from him!? Circumcision is terrible!. I would never want to take the most sensitive parts of my son's body away!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Since i've actually experienced life uncircumcised, and now circumcised, there is no doubt in my mind that being circumcised is far superior!. If i had a son he would be circumcised too!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Uncircumcized, because I am intact and never had any problems, also its medically unnecessary and has detrimental effects on the long-term sensitivity of the penis head!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
