What are your opinions on circumcision?!

Question: What are your opinions on circumcision!?
please discuss brieflyWww@Answer-Health@Com

Answers:
My opinions are that circumcision is a personal choice, to be decided by the man who owns his penis!. It's not a personal choice if a parent decides to cut up their child, and so that man has had a decision stripped away from him, a decision that affects his sexual pleasures!. People claim that the parents have rights to make such choices, that the baby should be like his father, but I say that the child should be left to make the decision on his own, that it is wrong for his parents to make such a decision regarding his penis, which is attached to the child's body, and not by any stretch of the mind property of the parents to do with as they please!. Parents for some ill begotten reason cannot comprehend the idea that they should not have total choice making authority over their children, and it is this very mindset that prevents many men in America and other nations from drawing their own conclusions about their penis and deciding where to go from there!. An uncircumcised penis is not filthy, it's only as filthy as the man is; If the man keeps his body cleaned, he should be able to keep his penis clean, as it is a part of his body!. I can tell you from experience that it takes no longer than 5 seconds, that's right, 5 seconds, to fully clean beneath the foreskin, and it's fast and easily done in the shower, it's nothing that merits much dedication or stressing over, it's fast, simple, and easy to do, any man can do it!. As a baby, many argue keeping the penis clean is difficult and that the baby will easily succumb to illness and infection, but this time it is not the boy's responsibility, but rather his parents'!. The foreskin is as much a part of the body as the ears or toes are, and it should not be left out of the bath by parents!. If the parents are not educated enough in childcare to be able to do a thorough job in keeping their child clean, it is their fault, and not a fault of the foreskin, that has brought infection and illness on the child!. Another silly myth regarding foreskin is that it allows for disease to pass easily into the body!. This is a farce at best!. The foreskin, being skin, can allow viruses to permeate into the body, but also, the glans itself can do the same, and let's also not forget the skin on the shaft of the penis!. When a man is circumcised, the glans is still able to pass disease as well as the skin of the shaft of the penis, and unless the man does not engage in sex at all, there is no way he can possibly have sex that does not involve inserting his entire penis into his partner, meaning that skin will always be present inside of the other person, meaning that there is always risk of passing disease!. Length of exposure to the diseased individual also affects chances of contraction, and sex is always long enough that there is extremely high risk of disease contraction, regardless of whether or not the foreskin is present!. An argument that circumcision holds no water at all; it would be more practical to argue that engaging in 3 second sexual encounters would reduce infection rates!. And alway, condoms are a sure fire way to prevent infectious diseases, not circumcision!. In regards to sexual pleasure, the argument that the foreskin does allow for increased pleasure can only be true, if one listens to simple logic!. Sensitive tissue is always protected by something, be it skin or something else!. For example, the tender tissue that is under the finger nails, or even muscle tissue that is covered in skin, it all has some protection!. The penis is no different!. Sensitive tissue, this being the glans of the penis, is protected by skin, the foreskin!. Removal of the foreskin, as in the case of any sort of protective tissue, results in the sensitive tissue beneath changing to accommodate for lack of defenses!. People who lose fingernails have thick scar tissue that covers the area where the nail once was, dulling the pain that would result from contact to the sensitive tissue!. The glans, upon losing the foreskin, suffers a similar fate!. The glans is sensitive by nature, and if you've never owned a foreskin, you cannot possibly understand this!. The glans, when it comes in contact with something that is rougher than foreskin or other similar tissue, stings very terribly, much like it would feel to rub a fresh wound with your finger or clothing, though not quite to that degree!. It's still safe to say it's extremely unpleasant, and if the foreskin is removed, the male will be experiencing that discomfort on a daily basis, and no one can function like that!. So, as a means of defense, the glans thickens like calloused skin does, to dull the sensitivity so as to allow for the man to function!. Dulling the sensitivity of the glans in this manner means that sexual pleasure is reduced as well, and that, in my book, is not something I will ever accept, especially if it is forced on me by someone who is ignorant and self centered, as it seems many parents are, as evident by the fact that they will willingly take away their child's right to choose what to do with his body for little reason other than their laziness to clean him well in infancy, and their inability to teach their own child how to deal with their differences from others, as many, many parents use the excuse that they do not wish their children to be teased in the locker rooms!. Circumcision is a decision left up to the man, and not his parents or his religion!. It should be a decision the man makes when he is capable of making such an informed decision on his own free will!. I apologize for the lack of brevity, but I feel this is an important topic and to be brief is to miss many important points!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Well now that you have heard the negative nonsense from the uncircumcised kids and some of the teeny girls, listen to one who knows!. Unfortunately, I grew up uncircumcised, but with a normally functional foreskin!. I elected to be circumcised as an adult some 23 years ago, in response to my (then new) wifes very strong preference for circumcised!. There is no doubt that circumcision has given me much better hygiene, comfort, appearance, self-esteem and FAR better sexual sensation and pleasure during intercourse, both for myself and for my wife!. Most men who are circumcised as adults will tell you the same thing - it's FAR better to be circumcised and most mature women who have sexual experience with both uncuts and circumcised men overwhelmingly prefer a circumcised man as a sexual partner - just ask a few and they will quickly confirm this! There are NO disadvantages to being circumcised and the benefits are there for life!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Infant circumcision is mutilation - a child should be able to decide for themselves once they become an adult!.

Adult circumcision is a personal choice - but an odd one!. Why would you want to remove a valuable part of your anatomy!? The foreskin is far from being just a piece of skin, it is full of nerve endings and performs valuable mechanical functions during sex!.

As a woman, I would far rather have an uncircumcised partner!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

When done to infants, it is cruel and barbaric and should be illegal!.

The benefits people mention are minor, don't apply to children and have never been proven!. They also pale in comparison to the severity and likelihood potential side effects and complications!.

It's up to adults what they want to do and circumcision should be a man's choice though I would prefer my partners be uncircumcised!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Well, I personally am Uncircumsized!.

The original use for it was two fold!.

1st, It was a relgious commandment given during the time of the, "Old testament"!. That people, or the chosen of God, where to circumsize themselves and thier children!. Thereby permanantly seperating themselves from the other cultures!.

2nd, It was done for cleanlyness reasons!. Back then, people didn't bathe as often as you or I!. If you are uncircumsized, dirt buildup inside the pocket of skin left would cause infection!. Which back then was almost always fatal!.

In today's day and age!. Circumcision is a personal preferance rather then anything else!.

If you look at it from the religious standpoint!. You realise that Jesus has come, and that circumcision is no longer a requirement to be considered on of God's chosen!.

If you look at it from a health concern!. The possability of death by infection is almost nill!.

There are also other considerations to be thought of in terms of medically!.

Men who are uncircumsized tend to have stronger orgasms, as the head of the penis has not been desensatised by years of rubbing on underwear!. On the flipside, it also takes longer to build up stamina!. As you don't have the bonus of a slightly desensatised penis!.

With circumcision, you also have the possability that something could go wrong during it!. I have met 2 people who had failed circumcisions when I was in college!. Consiquently, they have issues with sexual intercourse!.

So, there are pro's and con's to each side!.

Personal opinion!. Its not longer required for religion!. Its no longer required for health, and there is a possability for failure during the procedure!. So, con's outweigh the pro's!.

Hope that helps,
-ArkWww@Answer-Health@Com

There are absolutely no benefits to circumcision!.
It destroys 50% or more of sexual sensitivity, to total insensivity!. Many complications include painful and distorted erections, skin bridges, hypospadias, infection, gangrene and sexual dysfunction!.

CLEAN!?!?!?!?!? Bull!. Europeans laugh at us!. There are absolutely no products for cleaning the normal, unmutilated male penis!.
There are more than 1,000 products for female genital cleansing/deodorizing, and women are saying that the intact male isn't clean!? Yeah, right!! Who isn't clean!?!?!?!?

American males have been cheated, and they don't realize it and they perpetrate it on their sons!!! Uncircumcised (natural and intact) males have much more intense orgasms and are more responsive to their partners because they can sense vaginal contractions and can tell when women are responding !. Why do you think Europeans and latins are better lovers!? Great American lovers---0---

The medical profession and special interest religious groups have been pressuring to circumcise every male that they can for decades!. Now they're going after African men, with the silly excuse that it will prevent HIV!

I guess that they don't know that HIV is caused by a virus, not by a foreskin!

But any excuse to further their interests!. Personally, I don't want these groups to dictate my genital status!.

Only a pervert would want to mutilate a male's penis---Www@Answer-Health@Com

Its a medically unnecessary procedure, which is even becoming less common in the USA!.
Worldwide 80% of men are not circumsized and get thru life just fine with a wholly intact penis!.

I'm not circumsized, and its never caused me any problems!.
I'd never want to be circumsized, because the foreskin is a natural and important part of the penis which keeps the head soft and sensitive!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Totally up to the family!. When I looked at the stats about a year ago right before my son was born it was pretty much half and half here in the US, with maybe a bit higher percentage of baby boys having it than not!. There is so much debate as to the, cleanliness, social stigma, religion and sexual function that you could easily go either way!. We did decide to have our son circumcised because the majority of men on both mine and my husbands family are!. I do hate the fact that he had to go through that pain in his first few days of life but most docs say it only hurts for a few minutes!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

i think that if you are not cut, and you have no problems with being uncut, then you should leave it as a natural penis!. but if you have phimosis or something like that, where you cant pull the skin over the head of your penis, then you probably want to get cut!. but also, you have to do what makes you feel comfortable with your body!. so if thats what make you comfortable, then by all means, have at it!. but make sure you know what your getting into before you do, as it cannot be undone!. i am not cut, but i have problems pulling my skin back, as it tears when it does, and is very painful during intercourse or masturbation!. so im seriously considering getting cut!. but im getting all the facts before i do!. good luckWww@Answer-Health@Com

I don't think it's necessary!. I did have my son circumcised, but I would never do that again!. I think if you leave it, they can decide on their own when they get older!.
I've actually heard that that piece of skin allows for just a little more length, and sensitivity, and it really doesn't look all that weird!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

In Africa the most successful treatment so far in curbing the spread of the horrible new Hepatitis Delta virus has been circumcision!. It has really cut down on the spread of this disease in populations where it is available!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Circumcision is great! It is much cleaner, healthier for both partners and improves sexual pleasure! No downside! The antis are usually uncut and haven't got a clue!Www@Answer-Health@Com

the extra skin isnt harmful if u leave it
but if u do have a circumcision, you dont have to clean under the extra skin so its cleaner, and it doesnt look as wierd!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I think that circumcision is good!. There is a lot more maintenance with uncircumcised penis' and more guys are circumcised so the uncircumcised guys are kind of the oddballs!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Very briefly then:had it done as adult!.
Thought it to be more hygienic!.
Sky!.
Still glad that I had it done!.
My choice!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

i think its better to get circumcised cuz it will keep u away from illness and it looks better!.!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

circumcisions are better to have doneWww@Answer-Health@Com
