Probably for the same reason so many (bottle & butterface) blonde women drive convertibles and luxury cars!. Because they can or they think they lok cool, young & inviting!. Or maybe to get more of those sideway glances or hoping to get lucky or !.!.!.!.

these guys have probably noticed that their hairline has been receding for years!. to add to their macho image, they buy a convertible!. at least by the time, they've gone bald, they have a macho car to make up for it, to attract the ladies with!.
