Hi, I've tried it and used it like this!. I'm uncut, so I pulled my foreskin back, rubbed Vaseline all over my hands and the head of my penis!. It is a petroleum base product and that is not good for this use!. Use KY lube or a cheaper option is slaver, (spit )!. To answer your question it is not a good option at all, very gluey sticky, a bloody big problem, but its up to you to find out!.
