i came from a family that all men are circumcised, my father was circed when he was a teen, so he decided that my 14 year old brother will be circumcised!. They did not circed him when he was a baby coz they want him to feel the passage from boys to men, my brother thinks that circumcision will be good for him, is my parents and brother right!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

It isnt a thing of right and wrong, it's what they feel is right!. Often, i feel, it's wrong to have it done as a child- for both the reason you said, along with the fact it should be the persons' own decision when he gets to a good age!.

An interesting reason for circumcision in the West - if that is where you are!. Unlike women who have fairly dramatic milestones in their lives (first period, losing virginity etc) men do not have any close personal event to mark the transition from one state to another!. Circumcision is a minor operation (despite the nonsense written about 'drastic loss of sensitivity' etc) and,apart from being beneficial in itself, could be a very important epoch-marking event for him and I would wish him well!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

A penis is cleaned by retracting and washing; not cutting!.

When you parents left your brother uncirced they allowed him to make the desision on his own!. there are a lot of us dudes that are uncirced it has nothing to do with the passage of boyhood to manhood getting circumsized doenst mean your a man being uncirced just means your not cut that is all!. if he desides to keep his foreskin then he keeps it not a big deal most dudes in europe are uncirced and the circed ones are the minority

I recently had to make the choice of whether or not to have my 3 week old son circumcised!. We decided against it!. Circumcision is not as "popular" as it used to be!. Many boys now days are uncircumcised!. If you brother would like to be circumcised he should discuss it with your parents!. He may still have it done, although he will experience more pain and discomfort now that he is older!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
