Smelly Scrotum?!

Question: Smelly Scrotum!?
I am 15 years old and I'm still going through puberty but I have one extreme problem!. My scrotum's have a musty odor! Even after I get out of the shower, literally 20 seconds later the smell is back!. I would like to know if anyone else has gone through this problem and what was the solution!? I don't think it's puberty because I've searched this only and I haven't seen this as the signs of puberty!. Please don't recommend temporary fixes like baby powder, I have tried that but I want something that is permanent and not temporary!. I am a clean person and I care allot about my hygiene!. I wash every day!. I'm afraid this problem is going to continue and may affect my sex life when I get older! Please someone help! Especially if your a Doctor!Www@Answer-Health@Com

Believe it or not this could just be puberty and it may go away with age!. I know someone who has this type of situation but his methods of treatment are not for most!. If you do not have some kind of bacterial infection and don't notice abnormal rashing or irritations you may just be getting a little extra bang from puberty!. Clogged pours and hair folicles can leave you with a bit of odor which can be quite noticeable; especially to you!. If you are very active or dress warm or are a little overweight this can be more noticeable!. I have a 15 yr old son who hit me with this question last year!. He is a bit overweight but quite active!. He has been using one or a combination of the following with success although there are rare times the odor is noticeable!. I won't discuss the other cause but it involves "private time" and cleanup after!.
Some suggestions you may or may not have tried might be; drying extra well after showers or activities; allowing time after showers to "air out" or dry if you can be alone for a bit!. Powders suck, mostly because they become white nasty lumps which just make you feel worse and rarely work long!. If you use any powders the best will use corn starch and may include baking soda!. You might also try including switching between briefs and boxers now and then!.
As for my friend, he wipes down his area with mouthwash, (Which he says made his area feel quite refreshed!.) My translation was more like 'Fire&Ice'!. He said he's used to it and does it regularly!. There are a few herbal ideas that might help but what it may boil down to is that this is just something you need to out grow and it will go away with time!. Also keep in mind men and women have certain smells that they may find offensive but the other sex may actually like but these are usually not odors that would cause public embarrassment or the guy next to you to become suddenly ill!. Many doctors will tell you to try A&D ointment or something similar but that made my son's condition worse!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Its jock itch, seriously!.

Get the spray lamisil stuff, or cream, put it on and around the ball sack for 2 weeks and the odor will leave!.

If you google it, jock itch is the only infection that men get that effect the smell of their scrotum!. Assuming that you are not sexually active, it is most likely jock itch!.

Nothing to be afraid of!. And even if your not itchy down there it can still be jock itch!. The same fungus as athletes foot, only in your groin area!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I definitely agree!. In addition, have you placed any particular lotions or items on your scrotum before these smells would occur!? I can tell you honestly that every guy has his own smell from his crotch, normally just a way of saying this is mine, but it's never a smelly, musty odor that even after showering is left behind, so you're definitely right that it's not puberty!. add some hydrogen peroxide to your underwear laundry and wash them separately and not with your socks, towels- yes socks-noWww@Answer-Health@Com

I'm not exactly sure but you might have an infection!. I would talk to a doctor about the problem!.
