I did a Kick and my knee feels odd( semi numb) and painful...what can it be?!

Question: I did a Kick and my knee feels odd( semi numb) and painful!.!.!.what can it be!?
it happened 1 days ago !. i went on my break at work and i just did a spinnng kick cause i was happy and usually i do alittle exercise in my breaks!.

After i did it, the knee felt pain and i started feeling kind of numb in the arrea where the shin bone and thihgh bone meet!. yes in the patella but also around!.

What can this be!?
I have hisotry of knee injuries and actually i had kind of the same thing back in 2006, it was caused by squatting and staying in squat position for a few seconds!. i couldn't walk for months almost a year!.!. but eventually i felt better!.

well so all these days i had been fine, everyday doing exercise and my knee didn't hurt although i did feel a certain damage that remained from the 2006 incident!.
but why did it come back from a controlled kick!.

i have been doing kicks for months now and there had been no problemsWww@Answer-Health@Com

Can't be sure, but by what you are telling me, it sounds like you hyper extended your knee, for right now lay with your knee bent, put a pillow under it and ice, ice, ice for at least the next 24 hours!. You will probably be sore for a little while , but if the pain is not significantly better after 24 of rest and ice you will definatly have to see a doctor!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

It may need an Xray to check for any damage but in the meantime get an analgesic cream like Ibuleve to stop the pain!.
