Girls have them too, but their voice boxes aren't that big:guys need a bigger voice box to have a lower voice!.We would sound like girls if we did not have that Adam's apple!.

Girls have adam's apples too!. It's just when a boy goes through puberty the added testosterone in his system makes it thicken and get bigger!. Girls have them they just arent visible!.

During puberty the voice gets deeper!. It is because the voice box grows, and when it grows, it can stick out, which get's called the adam's apple!.
