I saw someone else bash nurses for answering questions as an expert!.

The quick answer, no one!
Nurses are dangerous to answer medical questions with authority!. They're schooling doesn't inlude a lot of pathology and they only can say what they've seen!. They now what is going on, but not the why it happens part!.
Doctors are probably the best, but if you were a doctor, would you put "MD" down!? I wouldn't it opens the door for a law suit!. No doctor would ever give advice without examing the person first !.!. at least claim they were an "MD" when doing this!. So if someone says doctor, they're probably not
Med students are the same as doctors on this page, a real one wouldn't put down "med student!."
Med techs are probably one of the best resources!. They know pathology and normal, but they have limited experince with physical problems!.
Paramedics are excelent at first responder type questions!.

You can't assume someone who says they are a nurse is really registered!. And it's unlikely any real doctor would answer a question with more than the vaguest of answers, because they are liable for malpractice if they do!.
People answering here can pretend to be male/female/doctor/nurse - there is no protection on Answers against lying people!.

Me!. If I don't know the answer, I take the time to do some research and check out the answer before responding-- though I can't understand why some of the really simple questions aren't just googled anyway!. How hard is that!. I was a former paramedic, so have some basic physiology knowledge!. But if I don't know the answer, I don't answer!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
