I want to put weight on my body ? what can i do?!


Question: I want to put weight on my body !? what can i do!?
I am a slim looking guy, i want to put weight on my body, Well i do workouts but still my body not bulking!. i really need good advices!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Increase calorie consumption!. Find your BMR, basal metabolic rate first!. Say for you it's 2500 calories/day just to maintain bosy temperature and normal body functions (You bascially need 2500 calories a day to maintain your weight)!. Then tally up the calories you burn for doing things (walking, weight lifting, typing, ect) and say it equals 500 a day!. That would mean you lost 500 calories and need to make that up to sustain your weight!.

Now you should be eating 3000 calories!. But ah, you wan't to bulk up!. You must have an excess of calories, so you should eat ~500 more calories a day, which puts you at 3500 calories!.

When you have excess calories and are weight lifting accordingly, instead of excess calories going to fat, they will be used to repair muscles!.

Try to aim for a 40-40-20 ratio of Protein/Carbs/Fat!.

The thing is, adding muscle takes a lot of time!. The body can only add on 1-2 pounds of lean muscle a month, so not much, but it will show!. Some of the excess calories will be turned into fat, but not a lot!. Just keep exercising and eating a ton!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

well i kinda have the same problem because i eat huge amount of food and never get fat but i do exercise so maybe eat all you want and generally excersize less but !.!.!.i like not being able to get fat easilyWww@Answer-Health@Com

eat lots of protien and fat!. I had the same problem!. I ate nuts and bannanas, and i gained 20 pounds in 2 months!. Its a great way to gain weight!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
