Yes puberty can cause some sensitivity, but should not cause redness, unless redness is from you touching and irritating it more because of your worry or possibly even a shirt or seam rubbing across it!. Try putting a bandaid over the nipple to keep shirt etc from rubbing and irritating it and yourself from touching it and worrying!. If the redness does not go away in a couple of days, then perhaps may be time to mention to parents or doc!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Don't be stupid, go to a doctor!. I didn't tell my parents about a lump on my testsicle, got scared thought it was cancer and told my dad!. We went to the doctor same day!. Thank god it wasn't!.
