i have an eighteen week old nephew, who's mother s looking to get him snipped!.

Ok, unlike most people, I'm going to answer your question without being judgmental or trying to sway you one way or the other (hint hint, cough cough people!!!) Anyway, have him go and see the doctor- he'll let you know where to go to have the procedure done!. If worse comes to worse, and the doctors refuse to circumcise (though you should listen to them if there's a serious threat to the health of the child) you can always pull the "Desperate Housewives technique" by begging a Rabbi to perform the circumcision!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

The mother of your nephew may find that she has difficulty in finding a doctor who is willing to do this operation these days!. Unless it is because of religious grounds (and then it would be done at birth etc!.) or a medical issue then circumcision isn't very popular these days in Australia!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Woah, hold on there! Whether you mean Sydney, New South Wales or Sydney, Nova Scotia I can assure you it's very rare in both places!. In Australia it used to be common, but it has declined rapidly now!. The child would be one of the few circumcised children left in Australia!. I've heard it's banned in many public hospitals there now too!. He may even be teased about having no foreskin!. Atlantic Canada has one of the lowest circumcision rates in Canada also!.
Why on earth are you getting this child circumcised!? Is there a problem with his foreskin!? There really is no reason for it!. I urge you to do more research before you do this painful irreversible procedure on your son!. Circumcision has risks, and it is so easy to care for the foreskin!. It requires no special care!. Your nephew should be the one to pull his skin back for the first time and no one else should attempt to!. He should be able to do this at around age 5, but it might happen later or earlier!. Until then you don't need to do anything to his foreskin!.

I'm uncircumcised living here in the United States, and I have never had a problem with my foreskin!. I'm so happy to be spared the procedure that is common place here in the US!. American males don't know what they are missing, but Australians (and Canadians in case!) do know what they are missing, so they put an end to this a long time ago!. I hope you follow along with this!. It's a wonderful part of my penis, and every male that walks this planet should have the opportunity to have one!. It has more than 10,000 nerves that he will never have if you cut it off!. Help keep Australia natural!

Most doctors in the US don't preform the snip (knife and scalpel) circumcisions anymore for infants!
Now they use a ring and wrap the skin around it and it eventually falls off!. Safer!
So Sydney might not offer it either, however if you are Jewish you could have a Rabbi preform it!. They still use the scalpel technique!Www@Answer-Health@Com

Firstly it's not a "snip"!. It's a big thing!. They even have to separate the foreskin from the glans!
Secondly, 18 weeks is waiting too long!. It's so cruel at that age, worse than on a newborn IMHO!.
Thirdly, she's out of luck!. Circumcision is very rare in Sydney and Australia as a whole!. Most doctors refuse to do it - if they do they like to wait until the baby is at least a year and get general anaesthetic!. Also it is banned in public hospitals so she will have to pay a lot!.
Circumcision is cruel and unnecessary!. 95% of Australian boys aren't done and are fine with their penises!. Why put her son through this!? He will only hate her for it later, especially growing up in a country where it's rare!.

I am not in favor of circumcision!. I believe it to be a completely unnecessary procedure!. I have never understood why female circumcision is considered to be genital mutilation yet there is no outcry over male circumcision!.
