Question: Finasteride and/or minoxidil!? Your experiences, thoughts!.!?
Let me say that my hair line is only receding somewhat, now thinning!. I've been using both!. Finasteride seems to be helping!. I was on Propecia for about 7 months, stopped for a couple months because of the price and am now taking 1/4 of the Proscar 5 mg tablets (for about 3-4 months)!. I've been using a 5% minoxidil on my receding hairline and I don't think its been doing much!. (I realize that it's not made for the receding hairline but I figured I'd give it a shot!.) I've seen some light thin hairs on my head where there was no hair but I think those are from the finasteride, not the minoxidil!. I'm stopping the minoxidil and continuing with the finasteride!. It'll at least let me keep the hair I have and hopefully regrow a little!. Just wondering what other people have been doing, and what your experience was!. Thanks!Www@Answer-Health@Com

I've been taking 1/4 of a 5 mg Proscar tablet daily for years, just like you're doing!. It works great for me, with no known side effects!. I buy mine online and it is not expensive!. However, I heard recently that the patent on the drug has expired and generic versions of Proscar are now available!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
