What made people decide sex is so private?!

Question: What made people decide sex is so private!?
Teachers always skip sex scenes in movies!.!.!. but it's a natural part of life!. I have always wondered why they do this!. They say it is inappropriate but really it's not if you think about it!. Why must it be so exclusive!? Does anyone else agree!? Thoughts!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

It has nothing to do with it being "natural" or "inappropriate" really!. The teachers will do that because the school doesn't want to be held responsible for exposing some parents child to material that the PARENT may feel is inappropriate the THEIR child!. Basically, schools don't want to get sued by ultra-conservative parents!.

A lot of parents (and adults in general) still consider sex and even simply nudity as taboo and feel that "children" (of no specific age) would be somehow "harmed" by viewing such material!. More likely, they simply don't want their children asking sexual questions that they are not prepared to answer no do they want their kids to become interested in sex at a young age!.

So, the MPAA (Motion Picture Association of America), TV Parental Guidelines and the ESRB (Entertainment Software Rating Board) and other similar organizations get together to view content of a particular film, TV show or video game to determine how to classify it as "age appropriate"!.

The MPAA is basically just a buisness designed to "sell" movies!. Nothing more and nothing less!. They ratings are completely subjective to the opinions of it's members and inconsistent from film to film!. They have no interest in protecting young viewers from inappropriate material, they simply want appeal to the masses which means getting the respect of conservative parents as well as marketing certain films to certain age groups!. A movie like "Saw 4", "The Texas Chainsaw Massacre" and "Hostel" will only carry an "R" rating which basically means that any irresposible parent can take a 4 year old to see it!. But a mature 16 year old could not see a movie like "The Dreamers" (a well acted artsy independent film that has a few seconds of frontal nudity and a non graphic sex scene in it) because it's rated NC-17!.

Its ridiculous what American society deems "inappropriate" and "okay" for children to see!. As far as I'm concerned, the only thing sex related that children should not see is actual porn!. As long as the material is not pornographic and gratuitous, I really don't see what the problem is!. Nudity and sex are normal, natural and something everyone has seen, done or will do at some point!. Graphic violence and gore is usually something horrible, illegal, immoral and just plain wrong that we desensize everyone to, then wonder why we are considered a violent society!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Animals do it here, there and anywhere!. Humans historically probably wanted privacy so as not to be interupted!. Also jealously probably worked into it somewhere evolutionarily!.
Teenagers giggle at sex scenes and most importantly, no wise teacher will set themselves up for parent phone calls and possible firing!. Movies are more risque then 10 - 20 years ago!.
We just happen to live in an historical era and location where we are, through laws and social customes, where we are at!. Years from now it'll be different again!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Most Western cultures are split between being obsessed with sex and yet profoundly uncomfortable with it!. Your teachers skip sex scenes because they're embarrassed!. They don't know what to say, and are frightened about what you might say to them!.!.!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

In some cultures, public sex is no big deal!. It (prudishness) comes from inadequate people wanting to govern the behavior of others!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
