My boyfriend wants to get a vasectomy!. We know how to procedure happens, but he has some concerns and questions he'd like answered before he actually has it performed!.
- Does it feel the same when you ejaculate as before the procedure!?
- How much does it cost in Canada!? Can it be partially covered by benefits!?

Don't listen to anyone that has never had one!. All they do is spread "urban legend"!. That is like asking a person that had been homeless their whole life questions about a mortgage!.
I had one when I was 21!. I am now 42!. I hang with a lot of child-free people!. Most of the men who are child-free get a vasectomy by 25!. I think that makes me an authority on the subject!.
You can't tell anything is different!. If he got it while he was in a coma, he would wake and never know!. Yes, he will ejaculate the same!. As I said, I am 42, and still have sex 4 or 5 times a week!.
There are no side effects so long as the doctor is competent!.
I know nothing about Canadian benefits!. I do know that even at a for profit doctor in the USA it costs under $1000!. A non profit clinic can do it for less than $600!. I can't imagine it would be more than $500 in Canada if you had to pay cash!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

As far as benefits, you will have to check your policy or insurance carrier to know that!. Some insurances actually do cover it, but it is entirely based on what type/plan you have!. As for the actual procedure, my husband had it years ago and he says you can't tell a difference when you ejaculate!. The only thing missing is the actual "live" sperm, not the feeling!. Also, he doesn't have any difficulty with sex or ejaculation, just to let you know!.!.lol!.!. =)Www@Answer-Health@Com
I have basicley the same quistions But have gotten no real answers all I know is if you go to a non-profit clinic they will make tou wait 90 days for the procedure, If you have insurance it can be done right away, or if you are a cash customer they will make you an opintment as soon as possible!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
Tell him not to!. One day he will want a child and to reverse vasectomy is like a lottery!. You never know if you the lucky one!. And don't believe the MD who is telling you otherwise!. The use of condom or pull out technique is much safer!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
My ex had it done!. He said it felt the same as before!. YOu still have to use protection for a couple months afterward, though!. His was covered by his insurance but your BF needs to check with his first!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
