Does punching the wall (hard) makes your knuckles strong?!


Question: Does punching the wall (hard) makes your knuckles strong!?
I heard that asyou punch/train your knuckles/bones they become harder and stronger!. So I started puncng the walls hard, no joke, to make my knuckles strong!. Hurted when began but no now, also saw some improvement too!. So whats your opinion and how to make then stronger (excercises, dont tell to drink milk because I already do that) ;-DWww@Answer-Health@Com

Putting repetitive strain on your knuckles by punching something will make them stronger over time!. The first thing to happen as you noticed is you will deaden the nerves so you feel less pain!. Secondly it causes the bone to grow denser to protect itself!. As is the case with the human body it adapts to what it is being required to do as in bigger muscle from lifting weights or more flexibility from stretching!. You are doing the same sort of thing as people who practice marshal arts they have been punching cord wrapped boards and kicking bamboo trees for hundreds of years to deaden nerves and strengthen bones!. So as long as you don't over do it and break your knuckles the bones will get stronger!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I don't know how to make them stronger, but let me tell you it is not by punching walls, that only makes a whole in the wall!. Where do you guys hear this things the other day my teen brother punch a whole on my mom's room!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

a better way is to get a five gallon bucket and fill it with pinto beans and practice punching into the beans
then try rice and then try small broken gravel
also doing knuckle pushups

It distorts the joints, and probably will cause rheumatism and arthritis later in life!. Exercise is the best way to strengthen bone and muscle, not high-impact!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

All you are doing is bulding up cartlige!. But, be careful because if you hit something that hard you can easily fracture your hand!. But, It really doesn't make your bones any stronger!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

if you punch too hard you could get a boxer's fracture (or something like that) those suck so i wouldnt recomend punching walls!. try a punching bag!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

obviously you havent herd of ARTHRITIS!.!.no punching walls wont make them strong!.!.try taking up Boxing!.!.my bf boxes and it does good, plus girls like dudes that box!.!.(i think)Www@Answer-Health@Com
