Question: Am I paranoid!.!.!.!.Bathroom question!.!?
Ok, today i had realized that i have not gone numer two in like 5 days, today is tuesday and since last wednesday i have ate at least 2 subway foot longs, macaroni grill, mcdonalds 10 peice chicken nuggets, pf changs, and snacked in between, i have probably ate at least 10 meals since then!. should i be worried, its not that i cant go but more like i dont have to go!. i getting a little freaked out casue i dont know what to expect the next time i do have to go!. should i expect the worse!? i just hope to god i dont experience any child birth type pain or worse!. is this normal- should i be worried just a little bit!? im wondering if i should take some meds to make me go!. thanksWww@Answer-Health@Com

If you haven't gone for 5 days there may be something wrong in there!. Does your abdomen hurt!. If not then it is probably nothing if it does you may have what we call a bowel obstruction!.

The best thing i can recommend is go to the drug store and get a bottle of MAG CITRATE!. It is a liquid that doesnt taste the best but if you take it before bed by the morning you should be able to go! Just be sure to go into the BR before you f*rt in the morning!

You need to eat more fiber like fruits, vegetables, and high fiber cereals!. You can also try a fiber supplement that you can mix into your drink or take as a pill!. Aslo you should be drinking half your body weight of water in ounces especially if you exercise (ex: a 140lb person should drink around 70oz of water)!. There are many health benefits of drinking enough water!. If you haven't pooped in that long you should try a laxative to get things going again!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Nah, don't worry!. There's going to be a lot of poop when you do finally go, but it'll all come out in good time!. Drink some prune juice or take a stool softener if you're really anxious to get it out "quickly and quietly"!. How often do you drink water!? If you don't drink water at all it'll be that bad, but you might want to go to your doctor!. If you try out some OTC medicine try out some of those powder-types that you mix with water and drink!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

dont eat so much junk food, drink apple juice, cranberry juice!. eat healthy food!.you can try eating steaks hamburger!. you need to eat normaly 3 meals a day at least!. dont snack so much on junk food!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

You're probably constipated!. Try using a laxative or go tell your doctor about it and they can help you!. Just make sure you let somebody know about this problem!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Yes, take laxative, if it builds up too long, it hardens and then has to be removed by surgery!. drain your bowels (take a dump) at least 3 times per weekWww@Answer-Health@Com

A healthy bowel that's getting enough fiber and water should take a dump at least daily!. Some people go twice a day, some every other day!. Beyond three days and you probably need to take a laxative or stool softener or need to eat more fiber and drink more water!. Especially if your apetite has been normal!.

If you aren't getting the urge to go, and you aren't in pain, then it is probably not an obstruction!. After a week, most people would be feeling moderate to acute abdominal pain, acute gas bubbles, and/or have a bloated, uncomfortable feeling!.

But what is "normal" for you!? If you are a couple days beyond that, you probably should do something about it!. 5 or 6 prunes, an apple, or 6oz of prune or apple juice should produce a bowel movement the next morning for most people!. Or try an over the counter laxative or stool softener!. If that doesn't do it, you should probably consult a physician, especially if you are elderly!.

You should drink 8-10 8oz glasses of water (coffee, pop, tea, or any other caffenated drinks or diet drinks don't count) per day!. Most people actually do drink less water that this, but you should at least try to drink 3-5 glasses of fresh water per day!.

Babies can have bowel movements even 3 or 4 times a day, and as people get older the frequency usually decreases, especially in elderly people!. This is because 1) a sludge builds up on the colon wall making it harder to go, 2)we don't drink enough fluids, and 3) we don't eat as much as we age, and older people and fast food junkies don't get enough fiber in their diets!.

Regular use of green tea will clean out your colon, which has a number of health benefits, besides the ability to poop easily!. The colon and small bowel are like a long tube, that over time get a buildup of sludge sticking to the sides, similar to old oil in your car, which interferes with the absorbtion of nutrients, contributes to the risk of colon cancer, and narrows the shute, making it harder to squeeze the waste out!. Green tea helps to remove this sludge!. If you don't like the taste, you can get green tea in capsule form that you take every day like a vitamin!. Most people will notice an improvement in their energy level and less straining in the bathroom after about two weeks on green tea!.

However, if you already have a poor apetite, you shouldn't take green tea, because it tends to depress the appetite somewhat in most people!.

You can take stool softeners for an indefinite period, and it won't hurt anything, but laxatives should only be used occasionally and not relied upon!. Overuse of laxatives will make your natural urges slow down and eventually you will need them all the time!. Laxatives are generally harsh on your system and can frequently cause cramping when they finally make you go!. Stool softeners don't usually have this side effect, and are a milder form of treatment!. Stool softeners just add water which softens the stool and makes it slick, so it comes out easier!.

Enemas should be used only as a last resort, and not often, because you can become dependent on them!.

If you regularly take prescription drugs, you should check with your doctor before taking herbal remedies and carefully read the labels of all over the counter drugs to make sure they won't cause any unpleasant or dangerous interactions with your prescription drugs!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
