It is normal in 50 percent of teenage boys to have a tender swelling under one or both nipples which may persist throughout the teen years!. As your hormone levels surge to levels several times what they were when you were a "kid", the female hormones surge at first as well as the male ones!. The breast tissue will respond by swelling and this can last long after the male hormones are at their all time peak!. One female hormone called progesterone is chemically quite similar to testosterone altho' it is much weaker in its action!.
Just remember that no doctor is going to think you strange if you ask to have your nipple examined!.!.!.!.after all that's what he does for a living!.!.!.examine bodies, makes diagnoses and prescribe!.!.!.!.the latter is ofter simple reassurance!.

It's a puberty lump and it's not uncommon for guys to get them during puberty!. Probably the most important thing is that you don't squeeze it or mash on it!. It'll go away by itself after a few months or maybe even a year!. Let your parents know just so they are aware of it and let your doctor know the next time you see him!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
