Why do guys take cold showers after a wet dream?!

To be honest, I generally just go back to sleep ;-) But the idea of the cold shower, for me, is based on one of two things!. First, is the idea of "shrinkage" - generally, male genetalia doesn't like cold water, and a cold shower will inhibit an erection pretty well!. Second of all, the cold water is a shock to your body!. Guys don't do that!. Normally a guy will wake up and believe he wet his bed not realizing the wet spot in his pajamas is semen from an involuntary wet dream!. Nobody takes a cold shower because of a wet dream!. Just because you have a wet dream doesn't mean you will wake up after with an erection!.
