My boyfriends getting circumcised!?!

Question: My boyfriends getting circumcised!!?
coz he is having phymosis and the doc urged him to get circumcised already, how can i take care of him and what will i expect!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

Answers:
Definitely be there for him to talk to before and after he has it done!. He will probably be pretty scared/nervous!.

Reassure him that he is doing the right thing and that everything will be better down there once it's healed!.

After he has it done, help him out during the first few days when he won't want to be too active!. Bring him meals in bed, etc!.

Do not get him sexually aroused until he is good and ready (after several weeks)!.

When it is fully healed, show him you are happy with the result be paying it lots of extra attention!Www@Answer-Health@Com

There really isn't anything that you can do!.

He should expect dicomfort!. But the doctors should be able to prescribe him some pain medication for the uncomfortable feeling!.

There will probably be redness, swelling, tenderness, pain, some burning with urination!.

You can just be sweet to him!. Try to make things a little easier on him!. And keep him cool!. If he has excess sweating it will be uncomfortable!.

Hope this helps!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

you should have been working with him to stretch that tight foreskin so he would not require surgery!. Way too many doctors still dig out the scalpel instead of instructing patients on the proper care and maintenance fo the foreskin!.

Yes, he may have a solid case of phimosis and require surgery to fix it but if he hasn't been working at stretching his foreskin then he is heading for possibly unnecessary surgery!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Good for him!. It is a good decision!. He won't regret it!. No amount of stretching or weird home remedies will have lasting effects on phimosis!. Only circumcision will sort the problem out properly!.

As far as taking care of him is concerned, just don't do anything that could give him an errection for at least the first week!. No sex for at least 3 to 4 weeks!. The pain is not that bad!. When I had it done, I can't say that I even had any discomfort - it really wasn't bad!. I was glad to finally have it done - what a relief!.

You will definitely enjoy his circumcised penis as much as he will!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Have they investigated treatments other than circumcision!? It should be the last option, not "already"!. Stretching and creams work in 90% of cases like the betametasone cream mentioned above!. He should try that first, if not ask for a dorsal slit instead of full circumcision!. Better recovery and you won't get the loss in sensation that comes with circumcison!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

He might NOT need to get circumcised!. If his foreskin is just a bit tight there are stretching exercises and steroid creams he can use to loosen it!. Phimosis should only require circumcision in extreme circumstances!.
I recommend he tries stretching the foreskin daily (ideally in the bath) to make it easier to pull back!. He'll need to be patient, because it may take several weeks to see results, but it will be worth it in the end!.
The below website has some good advice!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

My opinion is the doc can only see cash in this!. Get a second opinion from a foreskin friendly doctor!. Did your boyfriend try the foreskin stretching exercises!? If he tried that, the doctor can give him a cream to loosen his foreskin up!. Circumcision should be the last resort!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

ummm,, from what i remember about having my boys circumcised,, you need to have Vaseline,
some pain meds for him i would guess,,,I would think it would hurt more being an adult and having it done ,,, expect him to be in pain,,and mabe having a bag of frozen pea's handy wouldn't hurt !.!.!.!.!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

tell him to investigate other treatments first!. if he hasn't used BETAMETHASONE cream then he shouldn't be circumcised!. BETAMETHASONE works for 90% of cases with phimosis - completely cures it!. MUCH easier and cheaper than circumcision!. make him ask the doctor about this!Www@Answer-Health@Com

YIKES! I don't know!. But that is an interesting question!. I'd say just show him love and attention, but don't excite him!. I have no idea how painful it is or anything, but probably no more than other similar surgeries!. Just pamper him!. =)Www@Answer-Health@Com

Kiss it better!?

http://www!.steadyhealth!.com/articles/Phy!.!.!.

I think chaps will be oversensitive anyway about this!. Just show tenderness and understanding!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

You can expect him to hurt a lot!. Not much else you can do!. Keep it clean and dressed while it heals!. No erections though!. Maybe you should leave him alone while he recovers!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
