OK, boys over 50, I'm sorry, men. Do you have urinary/bladder problems ?!

Question: OK, boys over 50, I'm sorry, men!. Do you have urinary/bladder problems !?
I do, and it is driving me mad!. I have to pee!. I have to pee all the time!. I have to pee right now, but I can't!.
I awake in the morning with that typical full feeling, and I don't want to get up just yet, but, you just can't relax until you do!.
But when I get there(the bathroom), I just can't go!. Sometimes the only way is to jump in a really warm shower, and that somehow relaxes me!.
That is bad enough, but, this is the part that really bugs me!.
I urinate, I think I am all done, and then I go to the kitchen, or outside to do something!. The moment I get elsewhere, I feel like I'm going to pee my pants!. I, literally, have to run back to the bathroom to avoid that!. This happens repeatedly, at all hours of the day, regardless of the quantity of my intake of fluids!. I have seen my GP, I have been to the urologist!. They say I am pretty normal for a 51 yr old dude, no major problems!.
I am telling you, this is a major problem for me, but I can't seem to get any relief!. What am I to doWww@Answer-Health@Com

I kno u said uve been to the urologist but all of ur symptoms sound like a swollen prostate!. granted im only 13 years old but am very educated in mens health!. you should go get a prostate exam even if youve had 1 before!. a swollen prostate (which could be your problem) blocks some of the urine from exiting the urethra making you have to go more frequently!. no cure besides doctors antibiotics!. just call up ur doc and schedule a prostate exam
-hope this helped :]Www@Answer-Health@Com

The things you are describing are very common for any man over 50 years of age!. It's very likely down to something called prostatic hyperplasia!.

The prostate is a gland which generates the fluid found in semen so is closely related to the urethra!. It is very sensitive to testosterone so over an entire man's life, the prostate is always getting slightly bigger!. When it reaches a certain size, it will start compressing the urethra causing all these problems you're describing with urination!.

It is as i say very common and mostly harmless!. However since it is affecting your life so much im very suprised your urologist didnt offer you some treatment for it!.

The first line treatment for prostatic hyperplasia is in the form of tablets called alpha adrenocepter blockers such as finasteride!. This blocks the action of testosterone on the prostate and makes it shrink relieving the symptoms!.

The second line treatment is surgery such as Transurethral Resection of Prostate (TURP)!. This procedure is relatively quick and simple, and involves partial removal of the prostate!. You can also opt for complete removal of the prostate (prostatectomy) but this procedure carries more risks for the patient!.

So at any rate, if it is bothering you so much you should return to the GP or the urologist you saw and ask for a treatment plan!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
