Can puberty decrease your flexibility?!

Question: Can puberty decrease your flexibility!?
I've taken Taekwondo since I was 5 years old!. When I was very young, I could easily do splits very deeply; I could almost go all the way down!. But around high school, I started playing football, so I wasn't able to train in Taekwondo for a few years!. When I went back, I wasn't able to go down as far as I used to; I've been taking it again for about a year now, and I haven't improved noticeably!. Also, when I'm as far down as I can go, and I try to raise my torso from a horizontal position to a vertical position with my feet still on the ground, there is a certain point that I can't get past without some difficulty!. I can feel my hip bones popping into a different alignment as I pass the trouble spot; I'm fine above or below the spot, but not right in that spot!. So my question is, during puberty, is there some type of change in the structure of male hip joints that could cause less flexibility or range of motion in the splits!? Does my playing football have anything to do with it!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

Answers:
you have lost some flexibility that youll never get back because you stopped for a couple years
puberty doesnt change the hip bones but it does make you less flexible with stronger ligaments down there
all joints build up over time that cant be stopped and football probobly made your hips a bit worseWww@Answer-Health@Com

Maybe, but it is more likley to decrease your reaction time and dexxterity becuase fast growing bodies become awkward even to the person who lives in it!.!.!. if you know what I mean!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
