Is nitric oxide a banned substance?!

Question: Is nitric oxide a banned substance!?
i was told that it was but NOT because it has adverse health effects (as do other steroids) but because it offers an unfair advantage!. is there any truth to this when it comes to professional sports!.!.!.mlb nhl, nba!. etc Was just wondering more specically about the rules!. Thank YouWww@Answer-Health@Com

Answers:
as far as I know NO2 is not banned(at least in the NCAA), anything over the counter is ok!. Basically nitric oxide gives you a better pump when you work out, which means more blood is going to your muscle!. The more blood in the muscle when you work out, the more nutrients get in there to help it grow!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
