Question: Does masturbation cause acne!?!?!?
I know a lot of people have asked this question!. I went to see a dermatologist for my acne!. He said it would go away if i stopped looking at girls!. I didnt really understand what that meant!. Does he mean i should stop masterbating!? Im 13 years old!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

He was joking with you! Of course masturbation doesn't cause acne!. Acne is caused by clogged pores because at your age your skin is producing HUGE amounts of oil and so dead skin mixes with the oil (sebum actually) and can clog the pores on your face, leading to inflammation (acne) and blackheads, etc!. Just wash your face daily with some sort of face cleanser (they're all the same really) and try not to touch your face with your hands as they have lots of oil on them too!. And I know this is also hard but try not to pop any sores that come up, just apply some facial medicine (neutrogena is great) and leave it alone!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

No what he's telling you is hormones contribute to acne!. That's why they usually clear up in late teens and early 20's!. The hormones level out by then!. Just keep whacking and know that they'll get better in a few years!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
