Taller Younger Brother or Short Older Brother?!
Question: Taller Younger Brother or Short Older Brother!?
I've recently found out that I'm actually taller than my older brother now!. But by an inch (big woop) ha But it got me thinking!.
- How do older brothers feel when their younger brother is taller than them!?
- How do younger brothers feel when their taller than their older brother!?
- Younger brothers, do you tease your brother for payback at all!?
- Older brothers, do you try and make yourself feel like a big man by trying to fight your younger brother!?
It just got me thinking because my relatives are always saying that i'm taller than my brother and I don't think it makes him feel good!. So I just smile and nod and move on so he doesn't need to hear it!. Because for me, I try and think about people's feelings!. But he always says that he's bigger in size so I'm just like "whatever" which is true!.
So share stories or something if this happened to you or you know of this happening to your friends!.

My younger brother is way, way taller than me!. Probably because our dad's are different and I never knew my dad because he left us and split!. It is a really strange situation, but we have sort of role reversed somewhat!. He is way taller, bigger, stronger, smarter, you name it!. Luckily for me he has been pretty mature about all of it for his age!. I am almost 16 and he is 14!. I am barely 5'1" tall!. He is already 6'5 3/4" and no where done growing!. He is solid built, not lanky skinny!. When we were in middle school he still was bigger and taller!. My younger brother is taller than me standing on his knees! He is extremely smart and was super tall in middle school!. He tested so high that he was allowed to not only skip one grade but two! My parents did not know what to do, but I actually told them if it were reversed I would want it bad, so let him do it if he has the opportunity!. Being that my 2nd dad was super tall (6'10") I knew I was always going to be way shorter than my younger brother!. I told him to go for it if he wanted!. It was hard to take at first to see your younger brother completely physically out do you, but now school wise be the older and be above me grade wise was very hard to accept!. He was first very low key about it, but little by little he started taking over the lead or big brother role and enjoyed the us changing roles!. People did not even ask who was older, they just assumed it was him!. During his massive growth spurt is when his natural dominance over me really took off and our roles were almost completely changed by a wide margin!. Funny thing is he would look to my approval at times for him taking over!. When we went to the specialist at the children's hospital that dealt with bone growth, height, and development!.It was all bad news for me and of course good news for him!. The bad news was I was pretty much close to being done or already done growing!. My younger, taller brother however was told he would at least be his dad's height or taller!. That was a whole other 5" or more! Considering how tall he was now the doctor thought he could easily hit the 7 foot mark! I was in the presence of a young titan! Good grief! He told my parents that HGH might help me but it would be thousands of dollars and could only give an inch or two!. My parents did not have that type of money and I felt a inch was not worth it!. I told them I would just accept the short stick in life!. It was so hard for me!. I was happy for my towering younger brother as he wanted so badly to be at least as tall as our dad, but so overwhelmed by the fact that he could wind up now being 2 feet taller than me and he would be beyond powerful to me!. I told him that it seemed he would be doing all the growing for both of us and that I was jealous, but not angry or mad at him!. He understood!. I told him I would have to get used to talking to his stomach!. When we got home I asked him to measure off 7' tall!. I stood next to it and was in awe the height difference!. It was staggering! I would be closer to his bellybutton than his chest! His legs were like pillars compared to me!. We already both knew he could easily beat me up, pick me up like a doll, was stronger in one arm than practically my whole body, and being a grade above me was the superior intelligence!. We talked for a long while that night and he admitted he loved getting even taller and stronger to me and that it must be hard for me to accept, but he was glad he was going to get his dream of being the biggest in the family!. I'm a taller younger brother, and unlike you, I used to rub everything I could into my brother!. We were always at each other, one uping each other, what I think a normal brother should do to each other!. We'd get in fights, I'd win some, he'd win most of um, but if you are anything like me and my bro were, you wouldn't let ANYTHING pass up!. But you seem like a really chill guy, caring about his feelings and feelings of others!. If that's true, then don't change who you are just b/c someone else does something different!.
Also, just to add my two cents, there will probably come a day where your older brother will do something that will make you extremely upset, don't let it get to ya!. Forgive and forget!. My older bro did something horrible to me and i basically told him to never talk to me, 3 years later, I still can't get in contact with my bro, he pissed me off and I did some things I shouldn't have, but you can't let being mad seperate you guys!. i'm rambling on, but i hope ya get the point!.
