On the plus side, while you're doing all that work in the gym, you can work your abs a lot and have a more defined look than if you were to just starve yourself into a flat stomach!.

Unfortunately, spot reduction is impossible, meaning that you can't target a specific area of your body to lose fat!. Your body is going to lose fat from whichever area of your bod it sees fit!. The only way to lose fat is through cardiovascular exercise!. You may lose fat from other areas of your body first, but have patience, you will eventually begin losing from the area you want!. Abdominal exercises are important, but they tone and increase lean muscle mass!. They will not make you lose fat!. Only cardio will do this!. On the plus side, the more lean muscle mass you have, the easier it is for your body to burn fat!. Find something to hang onto wit your arms like monkey bars and then lift your legs up and out infront of you
